He then goes on to say Romans 10:17 (KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Then he said "Those Words are the rhema of the Cristos, the Word there is Christ not just God and rhema is the spoken Word. You put it together how does faith come, by the annointed spoken Word. It doesn't come just by the sound of Words bouncing off your ear drums." He said faith doesn't come by reading a text in the Bible. Keith is ultimately saying that faith comes by rhema spoken Word from God. I love Keith Moore he's a wonderful pastor. Okay, let me share my experience regarding how faith comes but before I do that I would like to say that yes faith comes by rhema spoken Word and also logos written Word and whoever is preaching the Word of God where people have ears to hear. Faith coming is not limited to rhema only and is not limited to the born again believers only. Faith is Jesus, we have the faith of Jesus. We had no faith when we were sinners, we were dead in our sins on our way to Hell forever but by the grace and love of Jesus we are saved and seated with Him in heavenly places. Yes, faith does come by the sound of Words bouncing off our ear drums whether it's by the logos Word or the Word of God being preached. We hear rhema in our born again spirit and logos with our natural ears. It's both, Faith comes both ways but are you receiving it? are you believing it? are you doing it? God is not making faith hard to receive and believe, let us not complicate faith... faith is simply believing God... who He is, what He said and is saying to you and what He has already done by His great grace. Logos (written Word) before I read my Bible I ask the Holy Spirit to show me great and mighty things in the Word, rightly dividing the Word of truth and give me a higher level of hearing. The Holy Spirit teaches and shows me what I need to hear, what is relevant to me in my situation and how I need to change by the renewing of my mind. He recently showed me passages of scriptures that I meditated on of which a particular pastor has already preached about on RUclips and that is what I needed to hear and thereby receiving revelation knowledge and understanding. This is how faith comes, through the logos aswell. Faith is constant, it's always flowing, always working. God gave us the Bible to use the faith He has given us in His anointed Word to overcome the world. My experience... the day I got saved... I was sitting at the back of the room, it was a Thursday healing meeting service in the chapel. As I was sitting there and listening... and that's all I was doing just listening to the pastor preach and as he was preaching the Word with boldness and authority, my ears were glued to his preaching of Jesus, he was declaring Jesus, what was happening to me then? faith was coming to me... faith is Jesus... The Holy Spirit was imparting faith to my ears and my soul. You cannot stop faith coming to you. The Holy Spirit impacted my soul with grace and unconditional love of Jesus. Then what happened? I believed, accepted and received Jesus as my Lord and saviour. I was born again. The pastor sowed the incorruptible seed of the Word of God in me by the power of the Holy Spirit. Faith comes to the believers and unbelievers. Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. I understand what Rev. Keith Moore is saying but as I have mentioned above, faith coming to us is not limited to just rhema spoken Word. It's the logos and also the Word preached declaring the gospel of grace. Now, I love rhema, I fellowship at a church that is called Rhema Family Church where Keith Moore will be coming soon to preach... don't laugh! I might talk to him about this :) I want to hear rhema from God, I want the Lord to speak to me everyday regarding everything I go through and just having a wonderful conversation and fellowship with Him, praising and worshipping Him.
