Thanks for your brilliant video. Full of genius knowledge in 24 minutes. I learn many technique in this lesson. One of the best Revit channel on RUclips. Subscribed already.
Hello, when I increase or decrease the height of the panel, the louvers get stucked in their position (they extend til the last point of the Array), so if array end point was at 2000, if I set the heigh to 1000, I get many louvers going outside the frame. Same if I set the height to 3000, I get 1000mm of void space in my frame, the only thing that changes is the spacing between louvers. What's wrong?
Hii thanks for the tutorial. I wanna ask some question, in revit 2024 how to choose placement place? because the display tab revit 2021 and 2024 kinda diffrerent
Sorry for my late reply. My Revit 2024 didn't want to open until today! I just checked and the buttons are still in the same place. Which one couldn't you find?
Hello thanks for the tutorial. I am trying to do it my self by following your steps. However, for some reasons I get to this error "A reporting parameter can be used in a formula only if its dimension references are all to host elements in the family" when I try to write the Unit count formula. minute 19:00. Any idea why this occurs to me? Many thanks
When placing the dimension, you probably picked something different from what I picked. It can be tricky because elements tend to overlap in the family editor, so please use Tab if necessary. For a dimension to be convertible to a reporting parameter, it has to reference only elements that come with the family template, i.e. things already available when you first open the family for editing.
Thanks for this video, i followed every step, when creating louvre width and put the same formula but the width doesn't change and remain small it doesn't change to 3000 (15:33) , it's kind of deactivate by default. What can i do to solve this? Thanks
hello sir, does it matter if the border lines in the beginning appear in the "interior" elevation, and not in the exterior ? and they don't appear in the left one, they appear in the right.
As long as you can still create the same window, I guess it doesn't matter. If you will schedule in the future which rooms the panel opens to and from, it's probably worth picking the Interior and Exterior side correctly.
Thank you revit optimus prime, i learn alot.
Glad you liked it ☺️

Just subbed. This channel is criminally underrated despite such good videos. Keep up the good work my dude, I've learned lots from your vids.
Thanks David! Any other Revit topics you want us to cover? Also if you're up for it, sharing this channel with your friends will help us out a lot :)
thank you thnk you very helpfull, im from malaysia
You are welcome!

thanks a lot for this amazing tutorial! for the further question, how should we do a vertical one like this (adjustable)
Glad you liked the tutorial! Doing a vertical louver panel is actually very similar. I'll create it in the next videos 😁

Hi, if you have set the formula right then something probably isn't set properly in the louvre unit family. Please open it to check.
@@RVBoost okay thanks

the panels get erased when they encounter an angle in the cw profile, is there away around?
What angle did you use that broke it?
At 5 31 why u create reference plane below the referrence level for the length of extrusion
It wouldn't work otherwise
These are in .rvt format. How can we change into FAMILY.rfa format?
The curtain panel is an RFA. The curtain wall or system however, is only available in an RVT.
