Thanks for the tutorial. May I know is it possible for the linked table to be updated on its own if there is any changes in the table on Google Sheets? Or may at certain time.
Thank you for posting. This is the closest issue to what I’m having I could find on RUclips. When you pasted into the Google Doc, the first cell “Branch” (1:37) was not formatted as the rest of the table. Can you format it so it matches the Google Sheet? When I copy a table from sheets to docs, it leaves a gap in the corner where it doesn’t meet all the way. When I go to print, it (the gap) still shows up in the preview. How do you fix that? I’ve tried adding a top line and adding a right line but that doesn’t fix it.
I'm not sure if there's been an update, but when I'm pasting the table, I don't get the pop-up about link to spreadsheet and paste unlinked; it just pastes the table without that option. ETA: I went and deleted a single column in the spreadsheet, for no good reason but because I wanted to, and when I tried to insert the spreadsheet into google docs again, it worked this time.
Thank you for your simple and understandable explanation.
What if your sheet looks more like a form? I formatted mine spreadsheet as a invoice, but when I copy paste to a doc, the columns are all messed up.
Clear and short as every video should be. Thank you. In addition, to update all linked objects you can go Tools > Linked objects, then update.
Exactly what I was looking for, thank you so much!!
Simple and clear explanation. Thanks.

would it be possible to link an in-cell image from a table as well? How to achive this?
Doesn't work for me. Not sure why. No link option appears when pasting
Can paste data into an existing table.
This technique does not work on Google sheets and google docs for iPhone. Any idea how this works on iPhone?

Been experiencing the same problem haven't found any solutions yet
@@leodenpontillas2605 any resolution yet? I don't get the pop-up to paste a table either
What if I edit the google doc e.g delete a column? what happens to the original doc
Table in goggle sheet is too big, will that somehow effect the process?
It shouldn't affect the process but depending on how it looks you may have to do some editing after its in docs
I can't find it
how can i move the table around in google docs after pasting it?
If you want to move it you can just copy and paste it after you have it in Google Docs
