Will slick needs Martin to kind of carry this 4th installment. Some people still aren't over that slap. I'm almost certain that the fan base is divided now. You definitely have the "if it weren't for Martin I wouldn't watch it" crowd out there. Martin has been around for a long time and has gone through a lot. He probably got mixed up in Hollywood bullying/compromising type situations before he went AWOL. Kat, Ice Cube and a mixture of other celebrities have hinted at what goes on behind stardom. Jamie mysteriously took a career/health dive, Christian Keys is mouthing off, Dave Chappelle took a hiatus, Sean Combs is getting the side eye for being a career ender within the music industry. A lot of accusations have been surfacing lately, smh. Run tell that indeed..... I'm happy to see Martin is trying to make a comeback, especially with his health. He may never be as popular and a top contender as he once was due to age, health and being away for so long, but I think he's better off. Though he's the one who advocated for Will to be his co-star for Bad Boys, I don't think he regrets it even though Will surpassed him. I think they're just built differently. Will was probably willing to do just about anything to be "That Guy." You've got to be willing to get your hands dirty sometimes to get and stay ahead. Bad Boys opened that door. Yes, Martin wore the dress, (if you know you know) but that doesn't guarantee a secure spot. I honestly think Martin saw sides of Hollywood for what it was (which probably caused his health & mental issues) and decided to take a step back. Unfortunately, time wasn't on his side and the window of opportunity passed. If you don't stay with the times, people will forget about you really fast. For those of us who remember, Martin is still "that guy", but without the compromise.

In my view we should move on everybody makes mistakes we are humans I like will still cuz he is one of the most entertaining actors out there and is consistent and have longevity, but that slap was wrong you don’t do that! But I’m all here for Bad boys 4 gonna see it on the cinema when it comes out just like the 3, and I’m even bigger fan of Martin his comedy is something else in these movies

I'll check it out. All the slamming of Will Smith slapping is outdated and petrified. Time to move on. Besides, it wasn't as entertaining as watching Americans fight over toilet paper during Rona.

Since the slap, it's not the same. Smith's persona has been tarnished, I don't know about others, but I can't see Smith like I used to.
