  • Lauren Bank nearly died from undiagnosed lupus. She was flown to Loyola by helicopter with a diagnosis of multiple infections. Her organs were failing. Soon afterward her doctors, Melissa Bussey, MD, and Rodney Tehrani, MD, correctly diagnosed her condition and immediately started treatment. She dramatically improved within hours. She is now healthy and in remission. Her doctors are so happy to see the turnaround that Lauren has had.
