How fortunate that these delightful old black and white movies have survived. They do give so much pleasure to many people. Thank you for making them available. Compliments from an 87 year old Englishman. February, 2024.
These are the best movies! Between Algie and Tenny the support they give Drummond is entertaining. Plenty of fun plot twists, humor and action. Beats anything made these days.
I agree, and I only found out about the series in early 2021. This is an adventure series that I don't think should be taken too seriously, or too lightly. It's a movie, so let's just let it be a movie.
Fun movie! Yes, back in those days they put lead in everything, like the paint on baby cribs. And it was added to gasoline to reduce engine knocking, so the exhaust would spread it everywhere.
I'm enjoying this movie. I can't believe Reginald Denny in the paint scene! "Lead poisoning. Painter's occupational disease. They usually come out of it in time." Really? I need to ask my doctor to add testing for lead poisoning to my blood test as I use Franciscan Apple dishes and they are very high in lead!
@@lindarocco9974 Many do, but not all. I'm not sure I can count "Alias Bulldog Drummond / Bulldog Jack" (it went under both titles) as a Drummond movie, exactly; it does have Drummond in it, but as a side character! He gets injured by car sabotage, then someone else with no real experience in fighting crime acts in place of Drummond. It starts out a bit slow, but I still enjoyed it, overall. Just mind, one of the reasons why I watch old movies is to see unexpected things (compared to modern movies.) "Alias" has that. It may not be the best movie ever, but I still enjoyed it.
@@101Volts Thank you Austin. I looked up the movie you suggested and found it, and several others too. I'll have to check them out and let you know what I think. Thanks again for your suggestion.

These Drummond movies are so much fun. Great characters and played so well by the actors.

Supposedly, eating Garlic reduces lead poisoning.

@@101Volts Austin thanks for recommending this movie to me. You were right. It was fast paced, fun, and full of twists and turns.
I can’t get over the inspector he was always old in all his parts he was the villain in Topper Returns
He also played as Mr. Gower in "It's A Wonderful Life!"
Miss John Barrymore in these, but fun old whodunit!
I'll bet that John Sutton never thought that he would don "Black Face" in his career. LOL! Thanks for the upload.
Another great upload.
Algie just had to have a trip lol.
Does anyone know what type of car Captain Drummond is driving 😊
Mercedes-Benz SSK roadster.
Poor poor Phyllis. Drummond is in love with Tenny. Not her.
There pig Latin needs work. But its a drummed flick . nice
If the bride is Phyllis I'm not watching this.
A little over dramatized with the paint n the apartment
