Great race, i was waiting for it. Mccabe and Markezich gave us an incredible show. Samantha Bush also got a great finish.

Sam is the BOMB. If you have been paying attention to XC, she is such a steady number three gal. Cross is so interesting and so strategic. You're trying to get a tight group across and you also want the low stick. Right there in the middle of your lineup you've got Old Reliable, Sam Bush, who has been to Laurie Henes School of Kick, and in the Champs, I think, made up a bunch of places in the last K to make third gal in for the Pack.

track is truly an individual sport. team tactics are almost non-existent. even the relays 'feel solo'. the only exception is the 4x100 because of the baton exchange.

"You can tell Millie is trying to get away..." Millie steps off the track because she was the pacesetter. The coverage of this event was embarrassing.

That’s on the event coordinators. They tell them nothing. It was great commentary

Great race and an interesting frame for the Millrose elite 3000 when Katelyn and Mercy will be in a field of pros trying to get way down below 8:40. It could happen with Monson and Cranny basically pacing KT and Mercy. I was very pleased to see Amaris Tyynismaa, who joined the Wolfpack shortly after this race (was this an audition?) up there much of the way. Coach Henes will send her to kick school (peer-tutored by Tuohy) and wait-- Amaris is an auto contender for the NCAA XC individual champs. YAY! Go Pack! By the way, I saw a vid of Amaris pronouncing her own name: a-MAR-is tie-NIZ-ma; just the way it's pronounced in Finnish.

Mccabes high school coach here. Good stuff to see. Shes really improved her form, keeping her head relaxed during finishing kick
