- We take a trip to Stirling Castle, Scotland. Another one of the great things to do in Scotland. A very historic Scottish site. In fact you can see the spot where William Wallace fought the battle of Sterling from the castle.

I literally never comment on RUclips videos but I thought you'd both like to know that my 10 year old son who has autism is absolutely OBSESSED with this video. He watches it multiple times every single day and has done for about a month now! We live in Stirling and the castle is his favourite place to go. He never, ever gets bored of it.
Hello. We are so glad your son enjoys the video. It really makes us smile that it makes him happy. Sorry you get stuck with our faces multiple times a day.
I only saw this video now. I have been to Stirling Castle, magnificent place, and a fitting seat of Scotland's kings and queens. The Broonfords are a lovely couple! I hope to meet them some day.
These are my people! Stirling Castle is built on Erskine land and my great grandmama was an Erskine. Super excited to be coming to see this in person in the future. Thanks for the great tour.
Great fun tagging along with you two. Thanks for uploading. Cheers.
A great deal of Europeans comment about the free refills in America so when you mentioned that you get two or more cups of tea with a pot I thought “yeah you do” but then remembered it’s not free there for refills. This is a great video. Love Stirling so much. Thank you. Hi Kirsten 😊
Tony and Kirsten elected to drive up to Stirling which as Tony said takes around forty minutes but, for those of you who want alternatives you can go by train, bus or taxi
Trains leave hourly from Edinburgh Waverley and the journey takes about 40 minutes including stops. (You lucky people get to travel over the beautiful Forth Bridge). The station at Stirling is about a fifteen minute walk from the Castle.
Buses go daily from Princes Street and the trip takes about 2hr 20mins including stops. Take the X38 or 909
Ticket prices vary from £5 - £11 check timetable for departure times as these could change.
The bus station at Stirling is about a 20 min walk from the Castle.
You can go by taxi but be aware the average....average cost, ONE WAY, can be anything between £90 and £110 so it makes sense to go by the first three options.
Love your video I like that you show how to enter the buildings, showing steps, stairways, etc., for people with mobility concerns, this is much appreciated. You show important angles, and just the right amount of explanation, well done. Truly enjoyable & helpful. The Snyder form Virginia USA.

That place is amazing hope i can have the oppurnity to visit that someday..
This is one of the places on my trip for 2019. Was great to have a preview. Can’t wait to get more tea it the best. Also want one of those pot to bring home.
We are planning a two-week holiday to Edinburgh and are enjoying the Broonford's videos! It is so apparent that you love your city, each other and your dogs! (Not necessarily in that order). We have learned so much and are looking forward to seeing these wonderful places you have talked about. Hubby is even hoping we can run into you, as you video. Thank you all!
Thank you so much. So glad you enjoy the videos, and hope they are helping you plan. If you see me out and about, definitely come up and say hi.
Cracking tour of Stirling, Guys. I will have to visit Stirling the next trip home. Slàinte
Great information - thanks - well worth watching!
Thank you.
I believe the fenced in white unicorn is a famous tapestry.
That first part you went too the grass areas are called the King and queens knoch
Beautiful there
I found out Lady Sterling was one of my grandmother’s. I live in the United States. I would love any information about her.I just found out a few months ago and had others check to make sure it was true. I always knew my bloodline came from a castle but I didn’t realize I came from Lady Sterling herself.
One more castle to visit next year. Thank you!!
Your welcome
It's one of the most impressive and important in Scotland so its definitely worth it.
Love you guys. I see you as family. You make me feel Scottish xx. I'm not x
JESUS F__.... that animatronic jester display is... um.... I’m not hungry anymore.
Will ye be doing the Wallace Monument?
Eventually.
Nothing wrong with being a lefty. Left handed means you’re in you’re right mind.
Left hands unite!
This made Kirsten very happy.
hi there
just watched some of your videos and while watching your stirling castle video I noticed you paid full admission price would it not be better for you to be a member of historic Scotland where you get in for free
We down go that often to really get a use out of something like that.
I grew up east Glasgow suburbs and everytime I hear a Edinburgh accent I think 'That is so posh!'. It's a really nice and soft accent.
Our accent sounds like sir Alex Ferguson, it ain't nice, I don't care what anyone says it's awful.
We definitely got the short straw when it come to Scottish accents.
I think the Glasgow accent can have some great character, that you don't get with an Edinburgh accent.
Came here when I watched the 1955 Colditz film on the telly in 2019 then went on RUclips for a tour around Colditz today and found out that they used this Castle exteriors as the film locations because they couldn't get permission from the real colditz in Germany
