While visiting the island on vacation from my job as an industrial maintenance electrician, I talked to a couple of electricians working near the salt pier about their work. They were afable fellows proud of their work supporting the salt mining operation. In fact, one was so connected to his work that he named his son 'Allen Bradley' (first & middle name). This was over a decade ago, and a nice memory from my time there. If you're unfamiliar with the name, it's a company that manufactured programmable logic controllers (i.e. PLCs') utilized for controlling automation and processes -- now sold under the name Rockwell Automation.

I know it's summertime and very warm there but it looks cold

I know - isn't that crazy? It's summertime there all year round since it's so close to the equator. But even standing there in my shorts shooting the video it was like I was looking at twinkling snow. Exactly why I had to shoot some video!

+Go Informed yeah it's really neat to when I first saw the thumbnail for your video I thought it was shot near the Great Salt Lake. They got the same thing there you know.

It's good to know this salt will not become my table salt for I do not like the taste of flamingo poop in my salt, thank you.
