Emily is a poet first and foremost - both lyrically and musically. There is nothing recycled, nothing glossed over, and every road taken is the one with the most overgrowth. She is one of the most pure artistic voices in music today.

A Truly Innovative Band. METRIC are a familiar sound but it sounds fresh and exciting. That is Mark of True Talent as Songwriters and Performers! May the Next 20 Years, be as Solid as the first 20! 🇨🇦 🍁 ❤

Man, I don't fully or exactly know why, but when they smiled at each other at 17:58, it got me.

Definitely want to hear Jimmy play trumpet on a Metric record. PS Emily’s definitely not crusty and never will be. Lol. Great video!

Good interviewer, good responses. Metric fell off my radar for a while, and am blown away they're still going so strong. Really enjoying the last three albums. Love that Toronto music scene from the early 2000s, so formative, feels like we grew older together even though we didn't.

I've been lucky to have been following them closely for 17 of those 20 years. Now that my son is 16, Emily's voice is nostalgic to him since he has been hearing their music since he was a baby.
Thanks Metric for being part of his soundscape!

Is there anywhere that the full show is posted? Or is this the whole interview?

Synthetica has also been my favorite, however; Formentera is growing into that place maybe. I have to balance the songs I like, with the memories that the songs evoke.
