- Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji starts all his spiritual discourses with the Vedic peace mantra - "Om Saha Navavatu". Here he lucidly explains the meaning of the mantra, in particular explaining why the verbs in the mantra are in the dual form. This vignette is taken from Volume 1 of "The Yoga Sutra of Sage Patanjali, Presented by Paramahamsa Prajnanananda" (please refer to www.kriya.org)
Beloved Guruji, there is another language where we can find a dual form from time to time and this is Polish (and probably Lithuanian). Polish belongs to the group of Slavic languages that took a lot from Sanskrit in ancient times, in the Aryans times, when cultures of the Aryans and Slavs were very much influencing each others. Most of the influences have been already transformed and they almost disappeared but still, it is very easy for Polish people to pronounce Sanskrit and Hindi like the native Indian speakers, with no foreign accent. Ancient Slavic and Indian cultures were very similar. Maybe that's why I love India so much ❤🙏💐🙂
Great information Jolanta. Proud feel and my high respect to Polish language and towards the land of Poland. You are brilliant. Keep sharing such information.
Pranam Gurudev🙏🙏🙏
Pranam Guruji. Your brilliant and meaning explaination, makes the digestion and use (chanting) of this mantra so powerful. Understanding each word in any mantra and realising it's significance, makes the chanting of the mantra so enjoyable to anyone who chants. I start my yoga class everyday with this mantra. Please accept my pranam and My very high respect to you Guru Ji. Om Shanti
