This is so accurate! I've been doing vocal lessons for years now and of you have a good teacher and dedication, it does make a difference. I personally don't like my voice in general because I'm a soprano and my voice still sounds pretty young because I look and sound younger than I am. I wish my voice was deeper, but I do get a lot of solos and I also get a lot of compliments.
