Also, random, but some things you can make that is easy but takes some time is pasta with bolognese sauce (or any cooked sauce). It’s the first thing my mom taught me how to make properly.

I gotta say, I was thrown for a loop seeing warmed up chocolate bar on bread as a recipe. That seemed like something a broke, tired college student would make all in amongst these beautiful multi-step recipes lmao
@@shelle3944 just because the food combinations in the video are unfamiliar to you doesn't mean it's automatically gross - it might seem unappetizing to you, but most of the food here is what the Korean diet consists of, so please try being more sensitive
I think it would be better if she sliced up the chocolate into squares, placed them on the bread, then toasted it in a toaster oven together. maybe top it with some marshmallows or fresh berries. plus probably the entire chocolate wouldn't fit on the bread depending on how thinly you sliced so less calories and more tasty.
Looking at you, I remembered myself as a teenager. Mom worked, didn't cook special pickles, there could be soup, boiled potatoes, oatmeal porridge, etc. in the refrigerator. I returned from school, took a slice of bread, a circle of sausage, butter, made a sandwich, tea. And instead of sugar, I enjoyed any jam! ))) When I didn't know anything about Korea, much less about cooking

I love this episode! I remember my mum who passed away last August.. She loves bread and the last recipe with condense milk.. She used to do that and roll the bread.. She called that Pinwheel Sandwhich.. I really really missed her 😔😭
