This was really well done. Great shots, great editing. It brought me right back to my hike of the Timberline. Uphill is my kryptonite. It can definitely affect my mood. On my most recent hike it was uphill all day from the trail head to our campsite (10 miles! of up) Second day was nice! All down hill back to the car. Haha
I don't know if you live here in Oregon, and if so if you are close to Portland. It's where I live. I hike the gorge in the winter and Hood in the summer, I am 42, not old, but not young. I am not fat, but I do struggle week after week with the battle to burn one or not...do what you do, thanks for sharing.
@@99frcvet I'm glad you commented on that, because aside from lightning strikes, people also are a source of forest fires. I assure you that I follow all Forest Service regulations (only in enclosed vehicles, established campsites, or in an area with no combustible materials in a 7 foot radius... this was on sand. Also packed out my trash). Having said that, it's not modeling good behavior for beginner backpackers. I should probably do a video specifically on fire safety. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks Jim! I actually discovered your channel while researching the Timberline Trail on RUclips. Loved your trip video 🙂

Thanks for watching. Totally love the Columbia River Gorge, by the way.
Smoking on trail?
