Also endrick is too young and is bound to make crucial mistakes at times. I think Madrid should try a game where arda plays RW, Mbappe and Vini LW and ST with Rodrygo coming off the bench and modric starting in the midfield.

The midfield still need to get more involved and the front three all drifting left is still an issue. Guler though helped fix this by practically playing RW. He definitely deserves to have more game time and the game was much better once Modric and Brahim also came on. Mbappe imo tries to do too much and needs to keep his game simple. The goals will come, but he needs to stop being fancy. Happy for Endrick getting his first goal. Onto the next game.

Tough loss yesterday, though I was telling a friend that I think the main issue I always see you guys do against Barca is let them engage you in transition battles which doesn’t suit your defense. Even last season was the case, although you did beat them in the cup and drew in league lol. But yeah as for today Valverde covers a lot of ground for sure, but he’s still lacking in imposing his presence on the ball imo if you know what I mean. It’s always been the one key area where I’ve said he needs to improve on, but of course his work rate and off the ball work is flawless. And definitely happy for Endrick. Imo I think Tchouameni and Valverde can’t both play together in a midfield 3 unless Modric or some one of that nature is on. They both need to be alternated at CDM at least until Camavinga returns. The low blocks from the oppositions of course isn’t easy to play though, but they can be better imo

Vamos! I have to admit the first half was kind of boring with very low shot count, four for Real Madrid and one for Real Valladolid. But I'm happy Real Madrid turned it up in the second half. Even though it was a deflection it was nice to see Valverde score, he's one of my favorite players on Real Madrid. I've never understand why fans leave early during a match, especially if your club is winning. Don't you want to see your club win, real supporters support their club no matter the result, and what do you have better to do. If I spent all that time and money to see a match, I'm staying the whole time (I've never understood it especially in big matches like the Champions League). I'm happy to see Endrick score in the match, especially when he did because all those fans who left early, missed it.

As a PSG fan, I see why MBappe is struggling to get goals at Real Madrid. If the counter-attack @3:35 mins was PSG, they would've just sent the ball up front and let the pace of MBappe deal with it. At Real Madrid, players hold the ball too much until they defenders of the other team get back in position and then players like Vini, Rodrygo, Diaz who are good at dribbling in tight spots do the trick and score. MBappe is not good at playing that kind of game. He's good at running like Ronaldo R9(but Ronaldo was more technic than MBappe) and Thierry Henry. Ancelloti needs to learn how to use MBappe, otherwise MBappe will flop badly!

What I admire about R. Madrid is the fact that even the youngest developing players come in and clutch certain games. Everyone gets a minor chance throughout the season but some of them may have to depart due the full capacity of world class players. As a madrid fan I always say Vini is the hardest player to watch. He's amazing, had two UCL to his name but dude gets frustrated and turns the ball over quite easily.
