Ethnicity has nothing to do with IPL teams, teams have players from all states. Dhoni is from Jharkhand, plays for Chennai, so it doesn't make sense to think that winning of a team equals to winning of that state, it has little to no significance as players who make those teams win are almost never from those states. Example Jadega is from Gujarat, he made Chennai win last year IPL. Toh jyada na lagana dil pe, Punjabi humare desh ka naam Roshan karte hi hain, none can question it.
