Thoroughly enjoyed this movie! Laughed way more than I expected. Super cute family movie and such a great ensemble cast!
I really enjoyed this movie and believe the palpable energy in this interview carries over onto the screen. There are many horror/scary films today, but not as many that can be viewed and enjoyed by ages young and old. I found myself laughing, weeping, and jumping with this film. I know it wasn’t universally praised by critics, but it’s praised by this one.
I'm shocked that they mentioned the 2003 movie. Thank God they said that both movies are basically their own thing but this movie has more heart and soul to ride and we all know how much the previous movie sucked cause it didn't feel like a worthy adaptation but hopefully this one will.
I think the first one is a charming family friendly film.
@MoviesAtTheBar Me too. Honestly very underrated
@@disneyfied-sundquist7349 awesome. Great to know. I actually have to copy of it on DVD in I watched it last week and I think it's a good film and I love the production design of it and the score is great too.
Great cast and director and interview
I saw the movie and it's a beautiful love letter to The Haunted Mansion
The scene with Danny and Ben and the artist impression of Hatbox Ghost 😂😂😂😂😂
I loved it too!!!😂😂😂
You guys are LEGENDS 🤯
I like the guy who is trying to get out of the coffin
Who knows? Maybe he gets out…
I hope Haunted Mansion is so good that it’s scary!
Makes sense the director use to work at one of the parks. I walked out of the theater smiling that the people involved really knew the ride
lack of marketing is bad for this movie
It's very sad because everyone on board seems very genuine and seem to really love the Source Material and work off eachother Beautifully but sadly it seems the film is set to bomb which means the executives are going to look at this type of film as a failure and we'll probably never see a sequel to it. Very tragic
I saw the movie yesterday and I loved it!!! "Hocus Pocus" wasn't a big hit when it first came out. Trust, give a few years, this movie will be the Halloween movie to watch every year and it's gonna be a cult classic. I think this movie would've done better had it been released this Halloween.
The Director must have spent a few years writing this, I can see the love that's gone into it and that's why it's so good
the 40% rotten rating on rotten tomatoes says otherwise
The director didn't write it. It was written by Katie Dippold
@@MoviesAtTheBar Oh my bad , well done Katie
@@Chaneloweenz that's not my score

I had ZERO desire to see this movie on paper but I keep asking myself....WHY is Lakeith Stansfield in this movie?? :) He is literally one of the best actors working right now.
Probably wanted to act in a Disney movie
Exactly. But at the same time he basically only works with black directors so that’s probably why.
I would go see it just to watch Lakeith 💓🥰🌌🎷
@@lilmilontiktokhe goes out of his way to work with *good* black directors but he still has movies like Knives out, the Purge and Uncut gems under his belt…….
Lakeith Stansfield is a very good actor but the others are also good actors including the child actor. The young director appears to have done a great job with this version of the Haunted Mansion
This Haunted Mansion is better than the 2003 version. I remember seeing the 2003 one in theaters. I didn't get a chance to see this one in theaters because I'm always busy. I think Lakeith did a good job at his role. I've never seen his movies before. I've never seen Tiffany in other movies before either. Lakeith & I are the same age.
This is the most remarkable Haunted Mansion i have seen.
Hopefully, it’s better than the Eddie Murphy Version cause that was pretty bad but my fingers are crossed
Hey! It was still good nonetheless!
I thought the original was really good but I respect your opinion .
Y’all forget Eddie’s version was a kid version and if you were a kid when you seen that one you liked it
@deontewilliams5364 I enjoyed it as a kid. I remember it came out on ABC. I remember even being a bit scared.
Eddie’s version looked bad then
So much better than the OG movie
Danny Devito is a National Treasure
I prefer the 2003 version. The plot was much more engaging and scary but had comedy. With the older version I actually felt connected to the characters and got immersed in the story. In the new version the ghosts aren’t scary at all. It is a kids movie but it should feel somewhat scary. The jokes most of them fell flat for me. I couldn’t get immersed in the story. The villain and back story wasn’t that good in my opinion. I did feel emotion for Ben and probably the only character I could connect to. For me it’s just a movie to watch with the kids. The actors are great I think the animation and story was the downfall for me. I do love the New Orleans vibe. I get they didn’t want to repeat the old story and make the new version it’s own. I wish they chose a better villain and did more with the story behind the villain.
It’s better than the Eddie Murphy version
Its different
I have no doubt that this will be a fun movie, but can we stop saying how so inventive, or how its something you never seen before... Stop the hyperbole already, just stop it
Especially from Disney
I get what you’re saying, and I have a hunch that this will actually be good. A massive W for Disney I hope.
Will this be too scary for a 7 year old?
Yes, but take them to see it anyway.
@@voicebox64 makes sense
I honestly doubt it with the way they described the "scariness" of this movie.
No the animation in my opinion is pretty bad
Will this be child friendly? Not much is from Disney these days from a Disney oldie that remembers the standards Disney use to hold for our families
I’m feeling hopeful for this movie, except I hope Tiffany Haddish is not so Tiffany Haddishy because she is tiresome..
Annnnd it floped badly
😊
Floppity flop flop
