Did anyone else notice how the Bosses were named after bosses from Destiny 1? The Archon was called Drevis (referencing Drevis, Wolf Baroness; a Taken Corruption Boss on Venus), the Centurion was called Ta'aurc (referencing Valus Ta'aurc; a Strike Boss on Mars), and the Knight was called Urzok (referencing Urzok, The Hated; a Public Event Boss on Earth)
Polaris lance does really well against the bosses. I started out with sleeper till I didn't have ammo and then my team and I just spammed Polaris and it tore through them
That sucks your first time was with all the shortcuts. Learning the jumping puzzle in that room really increases the appreciation for the whole thing. Such a great mission. Turned the original one up to 11. Took my group 3 tries but we got it. Gotta do that heroic later. Also, I accidentally found the portal while getting outside the map. Wasn't even trying. But saw the portal but had no way to get to it. Reddit hadn't mentioned it either but I thought it was a red herring. Rip me!
I didn't beat it yet without the shortcut but we figured it out. Which made that room have a great appreciation for how clever that puzzle is. That and the music in that room is just fantastic.
Real technically not the shortcut, but the intended way. To get all the chests you have to go and explore. The parkour room is meant to get the chest because of the jumping puzzle.
I think that's actually the Pyramid motif, but in a way it's also Shadowkeep/Savathun's song; the shadowkeep theme is just the pyramid theme with an extra note in the middle

Whisper mission is back! With a 40 min timer on normal and a 20 min on legendary. I can’t believe we did that mission years ago with shutgun on heavy slot…damn!!!!

Took me 5 tries First time I didn't make it but like 30 seconds into the jump puzzle (I never knew of it before hand). Second time I made it mostly thru the jump puzzle. Third time I made a Hunter for the triple jump and made it past the jump puzzle in a 5 mins and was getting 1 hit by everything since 300 light. 4th time I did it with a friend and was my first serious attempt, we got the last boss to 25% and just had nothing left and ran out of time. That one kinda felt bad as we really did try. 5th time I did it with the same friend and we got it :)
I spent a good 25 minutes total in the big ravine room when my mom pointed out there was a little light where I came in from and it turned out to be the exit, thanks mom

Did you not see his teammates leading him most of the time? This certainly isn't one of the videos people exploring the thing to know where to go sadly, I was also disappointed when this first came out. He was a little slow to the draw, even the shortcut circulated and what not.
Pretty awesome AND gutsy ! I've watched enough videos of others doing this, as have many others, I'M SURE, to know that THIS wasn't exactly the best strategy to take, to beat this. The fact that they DID beat it, without a better strategy, is all the more impressive!! This wasn't "pretty", but it sure was exciting ! I found myself getting tense toward the end, not knowing if they'd beat it in time !! I've tried this 3 times, alone, and failed MISERABLY !! The jumping puzzle alone, almost put me in a psych ward !! I found more ways to die than I thought were possible !! I even got "one shotted" right in the head, by some prick- sniper, off in the dark distance, while I was MID-AIR, during a jump !!! THAT is something I haven't seen in any video! I only just discovered this quest this week (been away from gaming for a few months) and I know it's gonna be quite a while before I get the Whisper of the Worm.
You act like the advantage is huge; it’s really not. Enemies are still really strong, there is still a lot of platforming, and there is still a time limit.

You should ban whoever said to not kill blights. Especially in boss room, it's really helpful
you can use the blights to shield yourself from enemies, different playstyles i guess.
blights also make it dificult to kill enemies too, gotta be strategic in the ones you take out
Theyre only really necessary to destroy in the last room, in the other ones the blights rather help you

Elite Exiles means nothing. We did it first try on PS4 and we did every jumping puzzle no shortcuts.
