Pitstop 2 may not seem much today, but back in 1984 it was revolutionary for the C64. Nothing could compare to it at the time, and it was enormous fun. Yes, racing games have come a long way :D
I’m one of the few who liked the first C64 collection (admittedly through nostalgia for Summer and Winter Games) but was on the fence as to buying this one due to it potentially being more of the same. On the strength of this review, I think I will buy it. As for best soundtrack on Evercade, for me it’s a tie between Eyra the Crow Maiden and Alien Cat 2.
Hmm... Best soundtrack on the Evercade... I'd have to think pretty hard about this one but off the top of my head I think both Xeno Crisis and Tanzer sound really good. Glad to hear the second C64 is better than the first but I don't see myself picking this one up.
Evercade is doing a huge miss service to the C64 reputation for those that love the system, to hear someone say no sound or music must be due to the limitations of C64 tells me they sadly have not experience what this system can do. Nice review of the cart but I am disappointed how badly Evercade have showcased this beloved system.
That's fair enough, I've still got 11 carts that are out to review, but of the ones I have review, I scored 16 higher than this one, so plenty of better options

Yea I'm sure it was good back then. I generally find unless it's top down, racing games pre 16 bit don't hold up
Soundtracks were what the c64 were famous for, if you think they’re bad try the amstrad and spectrum games lol

I had that on the Acorn Electron, I don't think it has any music on that. Yea just listened to the C64 one l, that's pretty sick
Gotta admit I didn’t enjoy either cartridge at first , recently I’ve been playing both and really enjoying them.

Tanzers a good shout. Alligator Hunt is probably the best in retrospect

Yea, it's a shame these carts aren't a "Best of Of" but sadly they're a "Stuff we could get for our budget"
Cybernoid has the best music. But unfortunately I may have to pass on that collection given my minimum experience with the C64.
