    Same thing happened to me. Six months ago, I was able to lose 15 lbs. I started a new job that constantly had food being delivered. Long story short, it took me 2 months to regain the entire 15 lbs. I had to quit that job. I'm now working in a healthier environment. My clothes are finally starting to loosen back up again. 7 lbs down as of today.

    Thank you for being honest and real. That’s what we need. ❤ I used to rock IF and fasting. Then peri menopause hit which is also throwing my thyroid up and down. Now I’m on the struggle bus with all the other women. I’m dealing with ravenous all day hunger regardless if I eat the right protein and fats. Saying my daily prayers for strength and willpower. Hugs to all the women struggling. We CAN do this. 🙏❣️🙏

    Thank you for sharing! I have been on the struggle bus for awhile now. About a year and a half ago I did IF and couldn't believe how well it worked. I honestly don't know what derailed me, but I am pretty much back to where I was. I know I can do it again, and I appreciate your encouragement! I am just kicking myself for over eating and gaining a good 10 lbs+ Oh! I also just got a rebounder!! I had seen your video about the benefits of rebounding and so I spent a month researching-then bought a jumpsport. I've taken it easy to start but I enjoy it so far! Thank you for all your advice and being a light in the craziness of this world! ❤

    I also need to get back on it! Like you Sandy, over the holidays and then a trip to Hawaii in February. Then grandkids birthday parties and just plain and simple got off track. Gained 5 pounds and not feeling as well as I did. So, after my Easter splurge yesterday, I am going to give it my best and get back at my intermittent fasting! Wish me luck! Wishing everyone else in the same boat luck too!

    Same thing for me too! I lost 40 lbs on intermittent fasting in 2017 and then Covid hit! My Yoga classes were shut down and when she was finally able to open back up, it was at a time I couldn’t go. I did some Yoga at home on video but that loss of connection really killed it for me! Then I slowly started gaining it back, even though I continued IF. I just didn’t have enough activity to burn what i was consuming and I KNEW this but my mind was just not in the right place. I have now gained back 30 of what I had lost! I’m trying to get back on track and this video was a confidence booster! Thanks for being real with us!

      I do IF 16:8 and gained 7! I think for my post menopausal body it increased cortisol. Stressful time of life. I had to just go back to the 1970s mindset of no snacking, no eating after dinner. Kitchen closed after dinner but I eat within an hour of waking up. Weight slowly coming down.

Now I’m 214 but trying again and yes I’ve watched Mindy Pelz too. Just found your channel about drink this before sleep helps melt fat at night. So I will try tht too. • @sandysteinbrook
      @sandysteinbrook  4 месяца назад

      You can do it! The drink that I make...I now drink it right after dinner or on an empty stomach a little before I break my fast. That way drinking it doesn't break my fasting time. It is definitely easier to put the weight on, than it is to get it off. I understand your frustration. I couldn't get the weight to come off, until Intermittent Fasting. Although I know it won't work for everyone.

      One of my friends did a dry January challenge of no alcohol and lost 10 pounds. She was more like you, having drinks 3-4 nights a week, not everyday. I want to enjoy vacations and not feel restricted. You should do what you can before your cruise, go fully enjoy your cruise week, then come back home and back at it again.

    Sandy, thank you for the encouragement. Presently I continue to struggle to lose the weight doing IF and feel very frustrated. Anyway, has this rebounder worked out for you? If so do you have a link for it?

    • @sandysteinbrook
      @sandysteinbrook  5 месяцев назад +1

      As far as the frustration...I understand! I have been in your shoes. The IF is the one thing that worked for me when I tried everything else and that wouldn't work. I do know that I still have to watch the amount of calories consumed in my 8 hour eating window because even eating healthy food, I can overeat. Maybe IF isn't going to be the answer for you. ??
      I have the Cellerciser Rebounder. I got it straight from the Cellerciser website. I had a Leaps & Rebounds rebounder before that. It is a bungee chord rebounder, and I liked it too. I just like the Cellerciser even better, but I also know it is more expensive and am sensitive to everyone having a different budget. So just get the best one you can for your budget. It's such a good exercise.

      Hi, Jennifer! So this is my personal experience...until I switched to a clean fast, I was not losing weight while intermittent fasting. I was down 20 pounds a year ago and in that year I regained 6 pounds but I also turned 65. I do watch what I eat. Walk at least 3 miles everyday with my husband but I CANNOT seem to lose those regained 6 pounds. Many days I eat only twice a day and try not to eat past 7pm. So frustrating. I'm ready to try IF but at my age, is it SAFE? Thanks for sharing your experiences😊

    • @sandysteinbrook
      @sandysteinbrook  5 месяцев назад

      I think IF is typically safe for almost everyone. It is just eating in a certain time frame. It isn't "not" eating or leaving out certain food groups...but I still eat at least 2 big meals and a snack, or 3 meals a day. You get to make your own hours whether you fast for 12 hours, 14, 16...etc. I dont go past 16 hours of fasting.
