The old-school Zendikar Quests. F.e. give Quest for Pure Flame to the mono green dino-player and have him figure out how to solve it. Spinkle in some sidequests, with red rewards and he knows what he wants to work for. Or Quest for Renewal for the vigilance voltron player, that never taps his beatstick.
That DnD deck is missing a key component: the ability to induce deep paranoia and anxiety in players. Every good DM should be able to mind game the hell out the rest of the table. It's not always about the carrot and the stick.
In the questgiver deck, battles, cases and the ascension cycle would also fit perfectly. Also ezuri's predation/apex altisaur would be the perfect tpk if only they weren' t green
Because (assuming you're not from a future where non-Siege Battles exist) you have to choose an opponent as the Battle's protector, meaning that that opponent is not able to attack it. You'd be giving a quest to everyone but that guy (including yourself, which I'd think would be frowned upon for DMs).
Mono white deck needs Crackdown, for flavor, emotions from the artwork, theme, and all the other privileged puns you can make from it. NON-WHITE CREATURES WITH POWER 3 OR GREATER DONT UNTAP
Okay but the PROPER way to play Zedruu and be a DM is obviously archenemy. You can give people stuff as rewards for successfully completing quests (surviving another scheme or disassembling one of the nasty combos zedruu decks play) or punish them with horrible "gifts"
I want to submit one of my decks so badly but I just KNOW I’m gonna get put in the “sponsored by edhrec” category cause my ass is new to magic and can’t build my own deck to save my ass
DnD deck needs board fuckery cards to show the random bullshit the DM can do to get things moving. Wrong Turn. Disrupt Decorum. Clone Legion. It needs to be able to become the archenemy. Show and Tell.

"I respect your ability to scryfall things" got a holler out of me
I still think giving unsolved cases in the D&D deck would be very funny. You give them literal goals they can try to meet for a reward!
Classes could also be fun.
The old-school Zendikar Quests.

The most true to form experience as a dm is putting effort into my campaign and then it gets crapped on by my players, so I think the dnd deck works
In fairness for the mono white deck, what's more mono white than no drawing?
Esper Sentinel, Trouble in pairs, Loran:
@franslair2199 Im speaking on the meme of white being bad at drawing or, like 2 of yours, situational depending on your opponents
@@franslair2199 yeah being more realistic he should have phrased it "never more than one card." Lol
contains almost no spice whatsoever
In 2024 we have tocasia's welcome and caretakers talent
The zedruu deck should give people the D&D classes to level up!
That DnD deck is missing a key component: the ability to induce deep paranoia and anxiety in players. Every good DM should be able to mind game the hell out the rest of the table. It's not always about the carrot and the stick.
It's crazy that people need to hear advice like: "Add D&D cards to your D&D themed deck"
In the questgiver deck, battles, cases and the ascension cycle would also fit perfectly. Also ezuri's predation/apex altisaur would be the perfect tpk if only they weren' t green
I’m here for 9/10 of Troper’s identities. Trevor knows what he did.
i think this is the earliest i've been to a video, yippee
The DM deck needs a wedding Ring
Bounty Board for that adventure deck
Dale Earnhardt Incorporated tokens? actually who knows, maybe after Aetherdrift.
I need that 156 token deck list!
Same
For the DM-deck, why not include battles to give away when they flip? It would make total sense as you give other players a target and reward

@MetaKaios not a huge problem if you ask me. The flavor still works
surprised you got not one but two "just scryfall list of all the X" decks

"this deck isnt about winning but putting other players through silly hoops" this put into words what i play commander for lmfao
the quest deck could have actual quest cards from zendikar or the battles since they are still under your control when you cast them.
needs some battles in there too. parties love it when you give them a signposted target
The Garth deck needs its own binder to even play 😅
I'd like the mono white player to know that I got their make some noise reference
Would love a video on Karametra, God of Harvest! Fun as hell in commander
This Thumbnail has big BrickyOrchid8 energy
Want a flavor win? Adventure deck helmed by Chulane, with the hidden wincon of Happily Ever After being enabled by Planeswide Celebration.
The fact that level up isnt anywhere on any of these cards is a crime

Day 40 of asking for Mr. Foxglove.
Ya got it boss
Is there a way to submit deck requests?
Dm deck needs to start handing out equipment

The Zedruu deck is my favorite play-style, I don't try to win I try to make memories
Day 3 of asking for Galazeth Prismari roast.
Nico Bolas roast day A3
Do I even want to ask why the mic is on a spatula
I'd love to see Mald roast my Rick Prime (Lord Xander) deck where I get to say stuff like "I'M SAKASHIMA RICK!"
why do you hate sol ring so much?
i didn't know what dei meant, i googled it, i've lost a bit of the last bits of hope i had for humanity
i also had to google it, but i had no hope to begin with
DEI is just racism, but spun a positive way because some rich people have a guilty conscience.
