Shannon, how do you com up with these comparisons? “ Jason Tatum coming up smaller than mini me in the finals”. This is why I like this show. You carry your own weight on this show.
Tatum certainly hasn't lived up to his potential in the FINALS but Skip's All-NBA 1st team argument is flawed Just in case Skip didn't notice the other 4 members of the All-NBA 1st team are all AT HOME
I mean experience is important too. Warriors have a lot. This Celtics team not as much. Not a great look for Tatum so far but if he gets back and win, don’t think it will look as bad as they say.
i'm a huge gsw and curry fan but i don't think it's fair to talk about JT in terms of his 'legacy'. he's still super young. his time will come and most of his legacy building years will come from then on
A lot of great players have had underwhelming Finals on their first appearance. Bird, Shaq, Kobe, LeBron. It didn't stop them from being all-time greats.
I really don't get Americans sports coverage, it makes some football (soccer) pundits look exceptional. Imagine arguing that Steph has more pressure on him when the Celtics are on the brink of losing.
Why do I get the feeling that both Shannon and Skip want the exact opposite to win. If you hear the way they talk about the other team lol Skip picked Warriors, but I feel he wants Steph to lose to say he can't be in the top 10 Shannon picked Celtics, but wants Steph to get the MVP truly
But why keep comparing old way back in the day players to current players? These players no matter what Era, they are who THEY are, not who you want them to be.
You're right but if you ask Curry about the 2016 Finals. He will be distressed. Curry was asked if he would trade his 2015 ring for the 2016 ring and he said yes. Because Golden State would of won 73 games with a championship. That meant a lot to him.
Considering KD won golden state 2 out of their 3 rings the pressure is definitely on Steph and less Tatum, Tatum is young and still a developing player it ain’t close.
Um im sorry isnt kd at home like the rest of us watching while step is actually playing.. How did kd win thoses rings for them but couldnt get brooklyn to the finals 2 years in a row... Please make it make sense...
Stop it, it's widely known that Steph deferred to KD during those years because he's not selfish. The fact that Steph has won a ring (soon to be 2) without KD shows that he didn't need KD. His legacy is cemented, this title would only be icing on the cake
Tatum never outplayed Giannis in ANY game. He had 46 and 9 in the game Giannis had 44, 20, and 6 assists in and was the lone ranger, whereas Tatum got a lot of help from Smart and Brown.
I think the media … are the only ones bringing up KD when he has no business being mentioned in these finals , I’ve yet to hear someone in conversation bring up kd
Man it's wack, Watching Tatum stand around on defense while his guys go all out and then demand the ball and make bad decisions on offense and eliminate brown from the game himself. This finals has shown its not that they can't play together, cause brown on the warriors would be a damn problem, it's that Tatum wants to be the hero without doing the work. I've started to notice his teammates side eye him cause on the floor you gotta give it all and he only does it on 1 end, same with luka..the reason LeBron was able to carry teams like they claim Tatum does is his defensive effort was as ridiculous as his offensive effort, and that's easy to follow.
@@IsaacMSingleton1 Tatum was doing that tho up until like late heat series, I genuinely wonder if the shoulder is bothering him and he gets in his own head and cares less because he’s frustrated.
More pressure to me for Steph to win it in game 7 if they lose. I don’t feel there’s much pressure on JT right now because he’s losing to Steph and also because he’s young.

Tatum is under far more pressure. It’s series like this that start to shape the narrative of young players career. The narrative of being a superstar but not delivering in big moments ( By the way I think Booker is in the same Boat). Personally I think Tatum’s a star not a superstar, but some have given him the superstar label.
@@mike.cdn7212 I believe Tatum has a higher ceiling also. One thing I was curious about after watching Golden State win, was how badly would the media go after Tatum today, and they’ve killed him. Personally I’m glad. Not because I want to see a player be torn down, but it lets me know that everyone sees the same potential in Tatum. He’s getting killed for not living up to the player people know he can be.
It feels like Jayson Tatum haven't been the same player since Game 7 Miami Heat - i think he is dealing with the pressure of being that Superstar that wins his team a NBA Championship, he is dealing with it for the first in these NBA Finals laid out by the media, not the organization nor the fans. I'm telling you, i have never seen Jayson Tatum like this before he is barely playing 50% of what he displayed in the Nets, Bucks series. Yet, i still believe in that dude in Game 7. Jaylen Brown will get us Game 6 for sure.
Skip basically don’t want nobody to score but Steph. If Steve Kerr come off the bench and make a free throw, he’ll be like Steph came up short. Kerr made the free throw that started everything lol
Boston needs to do the exact same thing as game 5. If you get Steph to shoot like trash two games in a row and still lose both games... So be it. Don't lose the finals giving up 35 points on 7 3s to Curry. Lock Curry up again and hope your players actually show up this time.
Draymond is a flagrant 2 away from a 1 game suspension. Imagine if he gets a flagrant 2 in game 6, warriors lose and draymond is suspended for game 7. Damn i get chills just thinking about this scenario.
Curry has been double and triple teamed all season.... The rest of team just easily scores in the paint just like last game. And which team has the better D? Wiggins is the reason tatum is shooting 30%

Shannon, how do you com up with these comparisons? “ Jason Tatum coming up smaller than mini me in the finals”. This is why I like this show. You carry your own weight on this show.
Good points made by both on this one. When I think of Tatum vs Celtics greats, there’s no comparison. This Celtics team is GOOD, that’s it.
"He's gone Westbrickian"
No matter what greatness Steph does, Skip will never appreciate him. 🤯🤯🤯
Well Currys a champion again and a FMVP winner. What else is there to prove? Curry is cemented.
Good Lord they asked the same question every single time. You know who has the most pressure both teams. That's the answer to that annoying question
Tatum certainly hasn't lived up to his potential in the FINALS but Skip's All-NBA 1st team argument is flawed
Just in case Skip didn't notice the other 4 members of the All-NBA 1st team are all AT HOME
Skip with the names:
Westbrickionn
Jason turnovers
💀💀
Curry the one player that can’t have help from his teammates?
They want to make ridiculous takes so people want to see what else they can come up with. It’s all fabricated
yep. that is how pathetic skip has become.
Series is over. Golden state gonna win by 10 Thursday night.
*Let's count how many times Skip gasped/sighed*
Why do I get the feeling that both Shannon and Skip want the exact opposite to win. If you hear the way they talk about the other team lol
Skip picked Warriors, but I feel he wants Steph to lose to say he can't be in the top 10
Shannon picked Celtics, but wants Steph to get the MVP truly
I agree. But remember the topic, who has the most pressure in game 6. I agreed to both of them
Fr, I picked up on that before the Finals started. Lol
Whatever game 6 will be, win or lose, I know it will be LEGENDARY!!!!
But why keep comparing old way back in the day players to current players? These players no matter what Era, they are who THEY are, not who you want them to be.
Really Skip? You think Steph is thinking about a finals from SIX YEARS AGO 🤣
You're right but if you ask Curry about the 2016 Finals. He will be distressed. Curry was asked if he would trade his 2015 ring for the 2016 ring and he said yes. Because Golden State would of won 73 games with a championship. That meant a lot to him.
The problem is Wiggins is playing insane on-ball defense and nobody for Boston is capable of creating shots for Tatum.
Considering KD won golden state 2 out of their 3 rings the pressure is definitely on Steph and less Tatum, Tatum is young and still a developing player it ain’t close.
Tatum facing elimination tho. If this was game 7 I would get what ur saying more
@@easysniper3158 nah u wrong
Um im sorry isnt kd at home like the rest of us watching while step is actually playing.. How did kd win thoses rings for them but couldnt get brooklyn to the finals 2 years in a row... Please make it make sense...
Stop it, it's widely known that Steph deferred to KD during those years because he's not selfish. The fact that Steph has won a ring (soon to be 2) without KD shows that he didn't need KD. His legacy is cemented, this title would only be icing on the cake
Talking about Tatum's legacy. Come on man, that guy is 24 years.
Yes, but some players never get back to this stage. Tatum missed on his opportunity to maximize his teams success.
Game 6 Klay hold my 🍺 🍻
Tatum never outplayed Giannis in ANY game.
Facts as the kids say lol
“Don’t count on Jaylen brown”. This is ridiculous that the media really got everybody thinking he’s above JB lol
Wiggins has out-played Tatum. Tatum must stop the turnovers. Brown is also TO prone.
More pressure to me for Steph to win it in game 7 if they lose. I don’t feel there’s much pressure on JT right now because he’s losing to Steph and also because he’s young.
So You think there's no pressure on the best player on a team facing ELIMINATION? You really need to rethink your sports values
This man really talk about JT and his legacy..Jayson Tatum who is 24 years old, in year 5..He's got a decade left at the very least..
Also, Skip really jinxed the Cs by all of a sudden "rooting" for them..
Ironically the Celtics could have used a Warrior killer like Kyrie to give you some offense. They keep going iso so might as well have benefited him.
He's a cancer like Lebald
Tatum because he’s still has a chance to be in the superstar discussion.
Steph on pressure? He's been carrying them this Finals except game 5
So what has Wiggins been doing? That 43pt game for Steph Wiggins had 16rebs & guarded Tatum & led the charge on both sides of the floor in game 5! If Wiggins has another big game & they win😳that FMVP🏆might b a toss up...... just saying🤔!!!
@@ReverendSam1 Wiggins haven't had a good scoring game til game 5..and Looney been grabbing rebounds too..steph had 10 rebounds game 4..so what you saying?..steph been carry since game 1..check the stats with Steph and Wiggins in see who beening more impactful
@@terrenceburnette187 Wiggins had 20 pts in game 1 & 18pts in game 3, NTM the Tatum assignment! To say Steph is carrying them would imply he isn't the FIRST option offensively, which he is! Listen I'm not saying Steph isn't balling but u can't deny what Wiggins is doing. If what happened in game 5 happens in game 6 & they win.......what then🤔?
@@ReverendSam1 im not denying Wiggins is helping..all im saying is ppl think Wiggins should be finals mvp after 1 game..yea he beening the second option this whole series..guarding Tatum is a tough assignment..if it won't for Wiggins helping steph in different ways they will be down 3-1 or maybe be at home now..i do respect your opinion on Wiggins..but Steph dropping over 30+ a game this series on the best defensive team in NBA..same team that swept KD or kyrie..but i think both Wiggins and steph taking them to a chip soon hopefully..if game 6 happen like game 5..and they win..well they just win...but steph shooting 0-9 from 3 won't happen again...they would have blown out Celtics if Steph hitted a couple 3s game 5...i expect Steph klay and Wiggins to have a big game..
@@terrenceburnette187 #'s can b misleading, does that factor in that 16pt game🤔? The C's r the best defensive team #'s wise but they haven't slowed down the dubs. The way they've played in the finals is how they've played all yr & beating that bad BK team wasn't that hard, Kd & Kyrie haven't done anything but piggybacked other players to championships!
Skip still find a way to mention Game 7….
Tatum is under far more pressure. It’s series like this that start to shape the narrative of young players career. The narrative of being a superstar but not delivering in big moments ( By the way I think Booker is in the same Boat). Personally I think Tatum’s a star not a superstar, but some have given him the superstar label.
I believe Tatum has a higher ceiling than Booker, but yes. Both played in the Finals but still have areas to improve.
Game 6 is going to be a career defining game for Tatum win or lose
skip makes a living HATING ppl 😭😭😭😭😭
Shannon had to give Skip that Mic drop at the end for KD
So we Callin Jaylen Brown Jaylan Brick🤣🤣🤣 Skip Called Him Westbrickain 🤣🤣🤣
Skip basically don’t want nobody to score but Steph. If Steve Kerr come off the bench and make a free throw, he’ll be like Steph came up short. Kerr made the free throw that started everything lol
Jayson ain't do a got damn thing against Jimmy. Jimmy just missed one of the worst shots in NBA history
Thank you! That was such a stupid shot
@@jvtherrien Goes to show, we all are capable of doing " stupid " things?
Haven't watched the video yet but I'm gonna guess that Skip says Steph is under the most pressure because he comes up small in the 4th quarter
Boston needs to do the exact same thing as game 5. If you get Steph to shoot like trash two games in a row and still lose both games... So be it.
Don't lose the finals giving up 35 points on 7 3s to Curry. Lock Curry up again and hope your players actually show up this time.
i agree about d on steph. hope they actually show up, especially in the 4th. boston looks pathetic by the 4th, wtf is up with their conditioning?
Stephs the greatest the last two decades period dott
😎
AD for Tatum = win/win
No team in this Era will EVER say "let's give steph some shots tonight" wtf is skip on
I think GSW will get it done in 6.
Steph will have a chip on his shoulder and Game 6 Klay is coming!! 🤩🤩🥳🥳
Not Jason Turnover 😂😂😂, skip is hilarious
It's Tatum. If he wants to emulate Kobe he'll have to have the game of his life nbs
Curry would of had gotten more points in game 5 but the Celtics focused on him from scoring which ended up allowing the others 1v1 or being opened
Andrew wiggins is the most important piece kids doing it all
Hate it when Shannon validates Skips points, and giggles after he makes a strong point himself that crushes Skips point. When he giggles, it comes off as if he does not believe his own point and just wants to say it for shyts and giggles.
Will a long reflex arc delay the feeling of excitement by weeks😂
You better not let Steph HAVE anything! That is insane!
The funny thing about Skip is his predictions are crazy, yet they come through...he always talked smack about Tatum and we laughed. Look at him now!
