You should check out Architects-Doomsday. A lot of people hear similarities in the guitar riffs in that song that came out before this one.

This song is the example of how beautiful metalcore can be. It’s just a vast genre that you can do whatever with it and it would sound amazing

Alrighty Mr Lboyd, You have now dipped your toes into the work of metal/post hardcore [Wage War, BMTH, FIR, Memphis May Fire] where screamo + melody singing + Insanely good instrumentals merge and where lyrics get deep. There are a ton of cookie cutter shit out there but I'd recommend taking a look at the different varieties and OGs of this genre and go through the growth of the scene:

Best Wage War heavy songs are The River, Alive, and Basic Hate. Best mixes of Melodic and Heavy by them imo are Witness, Don't Let Me Fade Away, and Youngblood.

One of my favorite bands is Too Close To Touch. You need to listen to their song "Eiley". It hits you RIGHT in the heart.

Please react to any Brand of Sacrifice song off of their album Lifeblood. It's deathcore like lorna shore but its very technical and the vocalist has one of the widest ranges of any metal vocalist. They also use a lot of synths and background effects but it all blends together so seamlessly. Then listen so earthshatter or the afterimage to hear him do his cleans.

You should check out Asleep at the Helm - Outsiders. Very similar to this style of metal.
Hardest Christian band I've heard. Check out teeth, river, stitch,... pay attention to the lyrics and see the genius of taking religion and making it apply to all things. I'm an atheist and still fell in love with this band.
