Had the redskins not thrown him into the fire his first year with absolutely no help other than terry and the football team actually believed in him his second year he probably would’ve been better. Ron Rivera benched him a lot prematurely. He wasn’t really given a chance. Had he gone to a team like the Steelers or dolphins or any team that actually wanted him from the beginning he would be doing fine rn. Just a bad situations

Daniel’s just gonna work. He’s got a lot of drive, believe me. It’s never over until it’s perfected. He is a determined, hard-working, detail-oriented guy but there’s not ego. And I think the lack of ego in just the loving of the game and the competition helps you in New York.
He is a combo of peyton and eli...He’s the first one in the weight room, he’s the first one down for any offseason workout, going to the indoor and throwing and throwing. The players are gonna respect his work ethic. They also respect his talent, all players respect talent, and he’s loaded with talent.
Eli weathered a similar storm at Ole Miss. Jones is considered by some a more athletic Eli.

Tom Brady also won two bowl games and is third all time at Michigan where he went 20-5 as a starter. He had the credentials and was rated pretty high coming out of college. Teams just passed up on him for some reason. Jones has proven nothing close to that.
