These VAR guys are just hopeless. Remember liverpool vs Tottenham game, liverpool vs Arsenal game, liverpool vs Man city game. Just too poor to say the least. It costed liverpool a number of points and only refeerers giving apologies when a team has lost of colossal points to win a league title. Nottingham can be relegated with a single point when they a supposed to survive with 2 points. It's a shame. Refeerers need to change their attitudes, not just because they are highly protected. Replays must be introduced if a team has lost because of bad officiating
Everton fan here, at least two of those penalties should definitely have been given, possibly all three, been a strange strange season, there has been games were so many decisions went against us an it seems like an agenda, today it looked like that against forest
Add in the handball decision on Saturday City v Chelsea. It seemed like a pen, but it definitely touched him, so why was a corner not given? The rules need clarification and it seems like referees are not the best people to be in charge of VAR. What a mess!
Young's first nibble was near identical to the one on DCL at Bournemouth, which wasn’t given and should have been, the handball was near identical to Michael Keane's at Anfield, which was given - correctly according to the appalling rules, wrongly if you’re a traditionalist - and the Odoi one was clumsy and while I can’t slate the ref for not seeing it in real time it should have been picked up by VAR who must have been on a smoke break or having a shite or something. I genuinely sympathise with Forest 💙
Ive lost count of the bad decisions weve had against us this season, we lost point's in a few games due to blatent offsides and pens not given. Im an evertonian by the way.
Doesn’t surprise me at all. They gave Liverpool the ball back in the 99th minute from a deadball that was ours and we just kick it upfield for a draw… but it wouldnt suit the run in and the hype of the title race would it. We had Boly produce an outstanding challenge and get a straight red in Nunos first game. It’s unreal. Minimum 6pts dropped just from refs if we are being generous.
The first pen decision is 50/50. i think its a pen but VAR not overruling the decision made on the field isn't that unusual. The other 2 were awful and should 100% be asking the ref to take another look at it.
It's nuts if Attwell is a Luton fan and in charge of VAR for this match. It's like when Michael Oliver was reffing matches that decided top 4 last season. Ridiculous
Forest really are up against it. I would be fuming if I was a forest fan. As football fans we cant sit back and allow such things to continue. Its an absolute disgrace.
Why does the premier league not want Nottingham Forest there? It seems a fair question because they certainly seem to be doing everything possible with the officiating on the pitch to help them go back down. I'd love to know what the club has done to piss them off so much. The bias against Forest is so transparent. It's sad to see; for the cub, the supporters, the city and not least of all for football.
If you watch most championship games, the refereeing sub-standard seems as if it's deliberate so they can bring VAR into that and all football eventually.
It is sad to see good managers looking so disappointed not at his teams performance or result but at decisions by the referee that have decided a game 😢
The straw that broke the camel's back. Kudos to NES and Forest for having the courage and actually standing up for themselves. The system is failing the lesser elite big-name teams such as them and Everton to name a few who keep getting constantly cheated out of decisions which go only the way of the Big 6. The apologies are thin and it is clear as crystal that this is corruption against the lesser big name clubs in the Premier League. The integrity of this division and the officiating, decision making and lack of accountability by the referees in charge of matches in this division is simply embarrassing. If referees like Mike Dean, Anthony Taylor and Paul Tierney did their jobs properly and did them in a 50/50 manner instead of a 90 against 10, they wouldn't be subjected to some much hate and abuse, but they simply do not learn and this is why they get abused.
SKY need to stop treating their customers like this. Instead of your woke box ticking respect campaigning, call out Howard Webb and these corrupt officials. Am going to ditch SKY and I urge others to do the same, too scared to criticise the worst officials in the world. You say officials deserve respect but slam players and managers when teams lose. It should be the other way around, these officials deserve nothing but abuse.
The same moron pundits who are saying this is disgraceful are the same as commentators who see a punch up and say "these aren't scene we want to see" when in reality all fans are loving it. Forest are totally right here and it's nice that Everton fans are supporting them
Problem we have here, is forest will probably get punished for this while the Ref and VAR officials continue without any punishment or investigation the into why a Luton fan was in VAR for this game.
The club's should've come together after the Spurs v Liverpool PGMOL debacle. They'd f'cked up big time & if the clubs had gone after them then, we might have changed things but typically things went tribal & the opportunity was lost.
Giving Everton some relief for taking the points cut..should also hope ManCity don't win the League title and cut them 50pts and the much needed break Pep wants for his team
referees can cost clubs millions with wrong decisions , they should not have the final say , esp if they are wrong , managers are right to protest bad reffing decisions , it can affect their future , but to complain sees managers penalised that is wrong

After watching the FA Cup semi today. Coventry fans should Question the VAR decission.
It's nuts if Attwell is a Luton fan and in charge of VAR for this match. It's like when Michael Oliver was reffing matches that decided top 4 last season. Ridiculous
About time. If Chelsea owners and Poch had anything about them or actually cared they'll send in a complaint along with Liverpool and Arsenal.
Forest really are up against it. I would be fuming if I was a forest fan. As football fans we cant sit back and allow such things to continue. Its an absolute disgrace.
Forest didn't play well enough. Kicking the ball full pelt at an opponent from 1 foot away and it striking their arm isn't handball.
Except when it happened to Wan Bisakka two hours later, and was given.😂😂😂😂😂
Why does the premier league not want Nottingham Forest there? It seems a fair question because they certainly seem to be doing everything possible with the officiating on the pitch to help them go back down. I'd love to know what the club has done to piss them off so much. The bias against Forest is so transparent. It's sad to see; for the cub, the supporters, the city and not least of all for football.
If you watch most championship games, the refereeing sub-standard seems as if it's deliberate so they can bring VAR into that and all football eventually.
It is sad to see good managers looking so disappointed not at his teams performance or result but at decisions by the referee that have decided a game 😢
It looks they want Luton to stay up from what I'm seeing or burnly
You’re not Man City. The PGMOL and FA won’t let Forest get away with challenging them.
Is this interviewer tryna wind him up or what 😑who are these people
Its sky never ask a decent question no insight, journalism from the likes off the bbc sky itv mainstream media died along time ago
First arsenal then wolves then liverpool then chelsea and now nottingham. Its now effecting the title race, cup competitions and relegation.
The VAR experts see the world differently to anyone else, pretty much like all the 'experts' children require to guide their lives.
Betting companies call the tune. PGMOL are in their pay.
He's a good man,,,he was great at wolves,,,I hope forest stay up,,,,VAR is so bad for the game and is open to abuse and or incompetency !
All the decisions going for City....and against Forest. Next week's Forest v City game should be fun....
When the stakes are so high and people are paid as professionals, everything need to be fair.
The statement is correct
it's time somebody take the FA and PGMOL to higher authorities and investigate for incompetence / match fixing
there needs to be a independent inquiry into corruption
We're with you Nottingham Forest. These refs and VAR officials aren't infallible and need to be held accountable for their actions
Statement takes away from the fact that Forest had little to offer. Poor team considering the outlay.
The outlay? One of the cheapest squads in the prem 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Could John Textor be right in his assumptions???? Damnnnnn!
They are more concerned about the tweet, than PGMOL that's bringing the game into disrepute.
Some very strange decisions that often go in top clubs favour. 🤔
If Forrest go down without the point deductions the Premier League won't have to deal with further legal appeals.
Don't worry Utd and Liverpool pundits will be along to tell you everything is all right with var.
If the premier league clubs was found guilty of match fixing (like Serie A 2006), I’d not be surprised at all
referees can cost clubs millions with wrong decisions , they should not have the final say , esp if they are wrong , managers are right to protest bad reffing decisions , it can affect their future , but to complain sees managers penalised that is wrong
the level of corruption is insanity 2 of 3 were clear pens the one was borderline but they have been given for less if this was man city they’d be given ever single penalty
Neville trying to defend VAR is embarrassing, must be on the payroll, Saha was right, that statement has to be put on social media because people need to start holding VAR accountable, Neville trying to say, the way it should be done is the manager should just say a few words after the match and "embarrass" VAR that way, nothing happens
What should happen is the VAR official should have to do a post match interview, with a monitor, and talk through each VAR decision they had made during the game, they should have to explain why they made that decision, if VAR refs know that that's what they'll have to do if they make dodgy decisions you'll start seeing alot more accurate one's
