- So, Is Cricket Wireless at a loss for not improving any of it's plans, service offerings, hotspot data amount and no Apple watch plan support as of yet? These are just some of the problems with Cricket which some would say would lead to losing customers for 2022 going into 2023. I will be giving my review on what Cricket Wireless NEEDS to improve on going forward so that they don't turn into a bad network choice for unlimited cell phone service. Why? because having a good connection for cell phones should be a given. So guys, let's talk about it!

I got cricket recently and am pleased, but yes, they could easily attract more customers with just a few more features, such as more/unlimited mobile hotspot data and smart watch support.
I've had no issues with Cricket, but I see what you're saying. Their prices are a little higher than other prepaid carriers, so you're trying to say they should either lower their plan prices, or include more with the plans if they're gonna stay the same price. I have the $60 plan, but I pay $55 with autopay. I really don't even need unlimited data, but I do it for premium data with no slowdowns. It's also still nice to not have to worry about connecting to WiFi everywhere I can, and not having to worry about reaching a data limit if I'm gonna be doing data consuming things somewhere with no WiFi. Plus, I've been letting my mom take advantage of the free HBO.
Sounds great T M, that higher tier is definitely nice in the more congested areas for sure!
I also switched because of the plans. I love the unlimited plus data plan especially the pricing on Spectrum mobile. I love that they support Apple watches.
Love your comments. I also cannot understand how they support the highest end Apple phones, but i bought a Samsung Galaxy S 23 Ultra for my son, Global factory unlocked and after i opened it tried to connect to the network, i could not. The One Plus 11 not supported. If you shop for unique phones you are limited.
Thank you!! Unfortunately, all of the networks (play best) with Apple iPhones.
Just open new line Hotspot and I’m not happy at all it’s terrible the device died on me returning it back thanks appreciate your videos
Hey Robert, i'm glad you enjoy my videos. If the device stopped working, I would go to Cricket and get a replacement
In Virginia the wifi and internet service is slowed down. Mainly due to Cricket customers taking the back seat to ATT customer on ATT towers.
Check this out, this will help solve that: eb3studioscellphoneprovider.com
I honestly still love Cricket, It's plans are comparable to verizon prepaid (except the hotspot), I find Cricket data speeds actually work more than Verizon prepaid does. I was with Verizon Prepaid since 2017 and almost always had speeds I couldn't use, Cricket for 6 months now and I never see below 10Mbps
Glad to hear it, Verizon is the exact same in my area as well, AT&T is where it's at for sure!!

I have been a loyal customer Cricket since 2017 but their phone quality has gone downhill now they're giving you second-hand phones for replacement phones I'm losing phone signal all the time but yet I have nothing blocking phone signal, I paid 58 a month for their unlimited plan on auto pay replace my phone not even a year ago and they gave me a second-hand used phone with issues now I'm looking at my other companies in options I think Cricket has gone downhill and is losing steam
QOS- quality of service.. crickets QOS is a QOS 7... You cant compare this to mint mobile, xfinity mobile or spectrum. those have a lower QOS 3... those smaller teir services are cheaper but also you get what you pay for.
Cricket Wireless is so in line with AT&T as a whole, especially it being their $60 dollar premium plan being the same as AT&T's premium plan.
Hey Eddie. So I dropped cricket because of that reason, they don’t support Apple devices only the iPhone. And you have to pay upfront for a new phone. I switch to Spectrum Mobile because you can do down payments upfront, and they’re very accessible for visually impaired and blind users. as well as they support Apple watches tablets from Apple devices such as iPads and android tablets. Which is what I really liked from them. I think I’m happy with my switch.
Awesome, glad to hear that Spectrum Mobile is working for you!!
I been with cricket for over 2yrs with the 60$ cell phone plan, and the service has gone down horribly,I don’t have internet for 12hrs in daytime,I call C.service a lot,so I do get a few mins internet, then it stops working,I use my phone for work and will b looking for a new service .
Definitely not good. I would suggest checking out the provider that I use here: ruclips.net/video/KXqsxtAP2Cw/видео.html
I came to cricket from a post paid Verizon account. Had Verizon for many years but was shocked to see how much better coverage cricket has in my area. Verizon has no 5G yet I have it almost everywhere I travel with cricket. Definitely happy I made the switch!!
Awesome! Glad to hear this, people do in fact "assume" that Verizon has the overall "superior" coverage but many people in my RUclips community actually get much better signal with AT&T than with Verizon (including myself).
Honestly, I have better service with T-Mobile and I do with Verizon as well. When I quit Cricket, I also dropped their service and have had better experience. And too many Cricket stores have closed down. Including one of the stores I worked at.
The thing that I don’t get a Cricket. Is why don’t the have installment payment to be able to get premium cell phones?
Probably because it's too much of a "risk" for them?
Been a Cricket Customer right after AT&T bought them. Been Happy with their Coverage and Service. Cricket needs to add ipad,Tablets and Apple Watch etc.. to keep up. My secondary line is Visible $30 Plan. Does Visible $45 plan include Roaming on T-Mobile Towers? I couldn't find much on their website. Thanks for your Videos
Glad to hear this! Roaming agreements are determined by the carriers based on a particular location. So it IS possible to roam on T-Mobile if they have agreements to in your area. They might or might not.
yea an i still happy with cricket-i can walk in the cricket store an they help me/no waiting on the phone/my phone has 5g/anyway the customer service here is great/an when my old phone was out date with cricket-cricket gave me a new phone-a moto styles-it has good memory an 1080p resolution/never had a miss call/but you are right they should improve there quality of service for customers-people/keep the vlogs coming/thanks much
Hey Ron, glad you are overall happy with Cricket and i'll keep the videos coming!!
barely use hotspot so I don't really need that
I’ve been with cricket wireless for over three years, and it still works great in my area! But would love to see some improvements as you mentioned in this video, Eddie! For a person who is blind, I would love to see them do you an iPad and add the Apple Watch to their plan! You were right on the money with this video! Stay awesome, Eddie!
Fingers crossed! Thanks for sharing :)
I like cricket wireless I just think their phones are over priced the androids are junk and the iPhones are Wayover priced compared to other carriers
Can you use a mobile hot slot device with blink for example . How would it work? Would it stay connected without timing out etc..
Hi Country Sizzler, as long as you don't run out of data I don't see any issues with this.
That’s why I love Visible. Even though I don’t have the cellular version of the Apple Watch right now, doesn’t mean I won’t get it it the next time. Also, I love the new $45 plan with the Verizon network.
Glad to hear you're loving Visible
We are happy with Cricket so far had it since March of 21 on the family plan 5 lines you know 125 and quite honestly I'm using about 50 gigs a month the area I'm in and Southwestern Indiana rock solid as far as service very little instances of getting slowed down thumbs up the cricket
Hey Steven, thats great news! Appreciate your update on the service
In my area the coverage went down hill, I fist thought it was my phone, went to Verizon and it was night and day
Yeah, unfortunately there isn't one carrier that is "best", gotta try around and find the right fit for you!
Love the video
Glad to hear it Luke, always great seeing you around the channel, I appreciate your continued support
Honestly I don’t think so cause cricket just did a new simply data plan with unlimited data for tablets for 15 dollars extra a month
Did they? I didn't see that listed over on their website, can you link to it or do did you find an article explaining it?
@@EB3Studios it’s a in store promotion where customers have either the 55 or 60 they can bring in their tablet and have unlimited data for 15 a month I’m a cricket wireless rep
@@EB3Studios Srry it’s not a promotion but it was launched last month
@@MrBayonaw I'll try to do some research on it, thanks for pointing it out!
@@EB3Studios no problem
I used to have the t-mobile $50 pre-paid plan... I would get refill cards at target to save tax and 5% off... sometimes target had additional sales on the refills... Then I decided I wanted the Metro $40 plan that required a new customer line not existing t-mobile account... I decided to temporarily use Cricket $60 plan for a few months then port over... I ported several months ago... (before e-sim was supported)... It was cheaper for me to get the Dream phone than buy a sim card so that is what I did... I was also able to get a referral code from a google search.... After having cricket service a few days I then realized there is an android app called add it up. Even though each month seems to devalue the points I have still been able to get discounts on the monthly service... some months are free... most aren't... I have autopay active so worst case its $55 a month but usually not... I figure once add it up is gone I most likely would switch to Metro. Another point keeping me on the plan is HBO Max but eventually that probably would get killed off giving me another reason to port out. Edit: Also forgot to mention I was also able to signup through Rakuten and still get the referral code credit.
Very interesting, thanks for sharing
Why would you want to leave Cricket Wireless for? They are a fully AT&T company that happens to have all of AT&T's featurings etc. They are the best in the nation. HBO Max won't be getting killed off from Cricket. As a matter of fact HBO Max will be becoming Max starting next week Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Warner Bro. Discovery are merging HBO Max/Discovery+ to becoming one full company as Max with the except of Discovery+ still being able to remain a standalone streaming service.
@@AndrewAddisonUniqueDrewski980 Metro now has a byod plan for $25 and visible basic is $25 and sometimes Visible plus is $35. Cricket single line is rather expensive...
