I’m looking for. your video of the reassembly of this Johnson F - 5B-9 pump. I’m curious becuase I need one and a Yanmar shop here in California told me not to try and rebuild mine because the F - 5B-9 Johnson pump had a special ceramic mechanical seal on the oil side of the pump and a special spring to hold the ceramic bearing at a precise pressure to keep the oil from comnig across to the water side, and the lip seal on the salt water side to keep the raw water out of the oil side. Looks to me like there are ONLY TWO inexpensive lip seals in the F 5B-9 pump. Of course he wants to sell me a brand new $560 US new FB-9 pump! LOL! I wonder… Ceramic mechanical seal? Ever hear of this in a 5 FB-9 pump??? LOL
Pretty sure I got most of the spares from Whitworths. Any Johnson pump supplier should be able to get them for you if you know the part numbers or at least the pump model number. Good luck!
Thanks man, I learned a lot from this video. Got about the same pump that i had to open up and fix. Cheers from Norway.
Wow that's great news. Thanks mate.

I did this a while ago but there definitely wasn't a ceramic bearing or any of that fancy stuff
where did you buy the repair kit?
