  • Tai Chi Music to Relax the Body and Mind
Tai chi is often described as "meditation in motion," but it might well be called "medication in motion." There is growing evidence that this mind-body practice, which originated in China as a martial art, has value in treating or preventing many health problems. And you can get started even if you aren't in top shape or the best of health.

In this low-impact, slow-motion exercise, you go without pausing through a series of motions named for animal actions - for example, "white crane spreads its wings" - or martial arts moves, such as "box both ears." As you move, you breathe deeply and naturally, focusing your attention - as in some kinds of meditation - on your bodily sensations. Tai chi differs from other types of exercise in several respects. The movements are usually circular and never forced, the muscles are relaxed rather than tensed, the joints are not fully extended or bent, and connective tissues are not stretched. Tai chi can be easily adapted for anyone, from the most fit to people confined to wheelchairs or recovering from surgery.
Relax your mind and body NOW, prepare for work, study, or just energize yourself.
Listening to music can have a tremendously relaxing effect on our minds and bodies, especially slow, quiet, classical, meditation music. This type of music can have a beneficial effect on our physiological functions, slowing the pulse and heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and decreasing the levels of stress hormones.

The soothing power of music is well-known. It has a unique link to our emotions and it can be an extremely effective stress relief tool.
Listening to music can have a tremendously relaxing effect on our minds and bodies, especially slow, quiet classical music. This type of music can have a beneficial effect on our physiological functions, slowing the pulse and heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and decreasing the levels of stress hormones.
As music can absorb our attention, it acts as a distraction at the same time it helps to explore emotions. This means it can be a great aid to meditation, helping to prevent the mind wandering.
Musical preference varies widely between individuals, so only you can decide what you like and what is suitable for each mood. When people are very stressed, there is a tendency to avoid actively listening to music. Perhaps it feels like a waste of time, not helping to achieve anything. But as we know, productivity increases when stress is reduced, so this is another area where you can gain vast rewards. It just takes a small effort to begin with.
This piece of music was created with intention to help you relax and release stress.

Dear DrFuson2016, thank you very much for your comment!
We are very glad you use our video for centering your Chi! Thank you for your feedback and for your kind words. ❤ ❤ ❤
As you know, Tai Chi integrates mind, body and spirit to achieve inner tranquillity and power. The Chinese characters for Tai Chi Chuan can be translated as the 'Supreme Ultimate Force'. The notion of 'supreme ultimate' is often associated with the Chinese concept of yin-yang, the notion that one can see a dynamic duality (male/female, active/passive, dark/light, forceful/yielding, etc.) in all things. 'Force' (or, more literally, 'fist') can be thought of here as the means or way of achieving this ying-yang, or 'supreme-ultimate' discipline.
For many practicioners the focus in doing them is not, first and foremost, martial, but as a meditative exercise for the body. For others the combat aspects of Tai Chi are of considerable interest. In Chinese philosophy and medicine there exists the concept of 'chi', a vital force that animates the body. One of the avowed aims of Tai Chi is to foster the circulation of this 'chi' within the body, the belief being that by doing so the health and vitality of the person are enhanced. This 'chi' circulates in patterns that are close related to the nervous and vascular system and thus the notion is closely connected with that of the practice of acupuncture and other oriental healing arts.
Another aim of Tai Chi is to foster a calm and tranquil mind, focused on the precise execution of these exercises. Learning to do them correctly provides a practical avenue for learning about such things as balance, alignment, fine-scale motor control, rhythm of movement, the genesis of movement from the body's vital center, and so on. Thus the practice of Tai Chi can in some measure contribute to being able to better stand, walk, move, run, etc. in other spheres of life as well. Many practitioners notice benefits in terms of correcting poor postural, alignment or movement patterns which can contribute to tension or injury. Furthermore the meditative nature of the exercises is calming and relaxing in and of itself.
Because the Tai Chi movements have their origins in the martial arts, practicing them does have some martial applications. In a two-person exercise called 'push-hands' Tai Chi principles are developed in terms of being sensitive to and responsive of another person's 'chi' or vital energy. It is also an opportunity to employ some of the martial aspects of Tai Chi in a kind of slow-tempo combat. Long-time practitioners of Tai Chi who are so-inclined can become very adept at martial arts. The emphasis in Tai Chi is on being able to channel potentially destructive energy (in the form of a kick or a punch) away from one in a manner that will dissipate the energy or send it in a direction where it is no longer a danger.
Tai Chi also has, particularly amongst eastern practitioners, a long connection with the I Ching a Chinese system of divination. There are associations between the 8 basic I Ching trigrams plus the five elements of Chinese alchemy (metal, wood, fire, water and earth) with the thirteen basic postures of Tai Chi created by Chang San-feng. There are also other associations with the full 64 trigrams of the I Ching and other movements in the Tai Chi form.
Enjoy the music. You may also find interesting our Angelic series:

Dear Thesonderchild 13, thank you very much for your comment.
Tai Chi is a gentle way to fight stress! Tai chi helps reduce stress and anxiety. And it also helps increase flexibility and balance.
If you're looking for a way to reduce stress, consider tai chi (TIE-CHEE). Originally developed for self-defense, tai chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that's now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements.
Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition and today is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.
Tai Chi integrates mind, body and spirit to achieve inner tranquillity and power.
Tai Chi, as it is practiced in the west today, can perhaps best be thought of as a moving form of yoga and meditation combined. There are a number of so-called forms (sometimes also called 'sets') which consist of a sequence of movements. Many of these movements are originally derived from the martial arts (and perhaps even more ancestrally than that, from the natural movements of animals and birds) although the way they are performed in Tai Chi is slowly, softly and gracefully with smooth and even transitions between them.

There are a number of so- called forms (sometimes also called 'sets') which consist of a sequence of movements. Many of these movements are originally derived from the martial arts (and perhaps even more ancestrally than that, from the natural movements of animals and birds) although the way they are performed in Tai Chi is slowly, softly and gracefully with smooth and even transitions between them.
The practical exercises of Tai Chi are also situated in a wider philosophical context of Taoism. This is a reflective, mystical Chinese tradition first associated with the scholar and mystic Lao Tsu, an older contemporary of Confucius. He wrote and taught in the province of Honan in the 6th century B.C. and authored the seminal work of Taoism, the Tao Te Ching. As a philosophy, Taoism has many elements but fundamentally it espouses a calm, reflective and mystic view of the world steeped in the beauty and tranquillity of nature.

SO relaxing it knocked me out! I wasn't expecting that. I slept very deeply, which is unusual for me. I generally awaken at any little noise. It was 4:30 pm, traffic outside, my family & pets moving around in the house.... and I was unconscious! Best nap I can remember in years! I guess I needed it. Thank you!

Dear Judy Neville, thank you very much for your comment. :)

      Caro Luiz Angelo Tirloni,
Muito obrigado pelo seu comentário! 🙏❤️️🙏

The soothing power of music is well-known. It has a unique link to our emotions and it can be an extremely effective stress relief tool.
Listening to music can have a tremendously relaxing effect on our minds and bodies, especially slow, quiet classical music. Dear Agnes Dodge, thank you very much for your support and comment.
Tai Chi is a gentle way to fight stress! Tai chi helps reduce stress and anxiety. And it also helps increase flexibility and balance.
We also have 8 hours version: ruclips.net/video/YK8Su1Lc1LU/видео.html

You are right, the music is very comfortable when you are doing internal practice, like Taichi. However, when you are doing Tai Chi, please follow a real tutor or master who can give you the right guidance. Because if you just practice by yourself, you may harm your knees in the long-term practice.

Dear Gash mark, thank you very much for your comment!
Everybody need to move and listen to the music. Tai Chi is the perfect for that :)
Tai Chi integrates mind, body and spirit to achieve inner tranquillity and power.
Thank you so much for your thorough explanation of Tai Chi! From what you have written, I can see how the music is related
to the "Chi"! I felt very happy and positive as well as relaxed while
it was playing. My son also enjoyed it, and it helped him
concentrate for his homework. He has been very interested inlearning
Tai Chi, and after reading about the benefits, I am now more
motivated to find him a class! We both have benefited from Chinese and Japanese healing modalities using Chi or Ki (Reiki!) I have already subscribed to your site, and look forward to exploring your Angel Series! Much Light and Love to You! Bless You too!

      Caro HILDA NOBRE ACIOLI,
Muito obrigado pelo seu comentário! 🙏❤️️🙏

Dear Jim Neely, thank you very much for your comment!
Tai Chi integrates mind, body and spirit to achieve inner tranquillity and power.
Tai Chi, as it is practiced in the west today, can perhaps best be thought of as a moving form of yoga and meditation combined.

Dear Dalton Henderson, thank you very much for your comment! This is maybe the best description of Tai Chi!
Tai Chi integrates mind, body and spirit to achieve inner tranquillity and power.
Tai Chi, as it is practiced in the west today, can perhaps best be thought of as a moving form of yoga and meditation combined.
Tai Chi also has, particularly amongst eastern practitioners, a long connection with the I Ching a Chinese system of divination. There are also other associations with the full 64 trigrams of the I Ching and other movements in the Tai Chi form.

Dear xiaoxiao wang, thank you very much for your comment.

Certain Ancient Chinese Music produce therapeutic effects through musical notes (known as 五音 or "mi, so, do, re, la") resonating with five elements meridians (corresponding with our internal organs). It would be great if you could produce videos (1 hour long each) targeted toward each of the five meridians that would help people enhance well being throughout the day. Recommended Time for listening: 07:00 - 11:00 (Kidney Meridian), 15:00 - 19:00 (Lung Meridian), 19:00 - 23:00 (Liver Meridian), 21:00 - 23:00 (Heart Meridian), and withing hour of meal time (Spleen Meridian). Thank you very much.

Dear S L, thank you very much for your comment!
This is a really great - you explained connection between the music and meridians, and human organs. Thank you for your contribution!
Tai Chi integrates mind, body and spirit to achieve inner tranquillity and power.

As music can absorb our attention, it acts as a distraction at the same time it helps to explore emotions. This means it can be a great aid to meditation, helping to prevent the mind wandering.

Dear NO ONE, thank you very much for your comment.
