BUT this band was in Taiwan around October,10 to 12 of this year where they embarrassed the UCLA band from the USA at the 51st celebration of Taiwan's independence from mainland China. Yes, they are very good, and were invited to come back with Tachibana at this time. The people of Taiwan love these Japanese High school Bands, and WHY NOT? DON'T YOU!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
But you are mistaken. Emerald Knights performed in Kaoshiung on October 8 and in Taipei on October 9 with 3 other schools and on October 10, at the Double 1en National Day celebrations. They flew back to Japan on Oct 11 2023. It wasn't a competition so they embarressed nobody. UCLA was invited because of US-Taiwan friendship. Emerald Knights may be also good but based on youtube views is not as POPULAR as Kyoto Tachibana SHS Band. Unlike DM Kihana in 2022 and DM Noguchi in 2023, nobody even know who their DM on the Emerald Knights is after their Music Director (s) apparently stole the show and did the conducting instead.

農大二高は後方も意識したパフォーマンスを考えたらさらに良くなると思う。人数が多いからこそできること。横や後方にも配置してお客さんを喜ばせたらかなり完璧だと思うな。
それにしてもこの会場はもっと前面にお客さんが入るような工夫はできなかったものかと思う。やっぱり正面から見るのが一番楽しいよね。
フォーメーションを変更するのは難しいのでは？矢張りフォーメーションは招致する前に分かって居るはずですから、高雄市が前面に多数の席（スタンド等）を準備するべきでしょうんね。正面から見るのが正道ですから、本当に残念です。あと、出来ればスーパーマリオの後の「物語」パートの概要を、簡単に説明して置くべきでしょうね。台湾公演全ての会場に言えますが。

勝手に横や後ろから後ろから見てると言えばそれまでなんだけど，少しでもいいから対応してあげられたらもっと喜んでもらえたかな？と思ってしまう。
あとは、階段でも構わないけど、雛壇的なところでお披露目しないと農大二高の全部が見渡せない。大人数のデメリットでもある。

@@koji.s1256 マリオは舞台転換用のBGMだからおまけ程度に見るもんだと思うよ。あれで満足してもらおうとは思っていないと思う。たんなる場つなぎサービス。パーカッションしかやっていないし。橘もパレードからマーチングの隊形に移行する時随分長いことドラムマーチやっていましたよね？あれと同じようなものです。
農大二高の真価が発揮されるのは屋内だろうな，やっぱり。屋外でビッグフラッグとかお立ち台的なものが使えなくなるのはやっぱり寂しいものがあるね。
とはいえ，吹連用のマーチングなら橘と変わらないし，こんなもんでもいいと思う。高雄で披露した北欧のステージマーチングはこれでも十分楽しめる。正面から見た方がいいのは橘も農大二高も同じこと。
