Navitus started with the left foot in this journey, according to what some influencers are saying, and by the time Navitus understood this world of fragrance reviews, it was a bit too late, because their image was compromised by the more well-known influencers, who till today they are bragging about their high moral ground on choosing to not work with certain brands. Even if they don’t name it, people already know they refer mainly to Navitus, as it’s the most famous brand that does collaborations, and the first one at that. Demi just recently said that, and even Sebastian when he insisted that his perfume collaboration gave him the full creative director power, and that he’s not just the influencer behind a new perfume. So now you’re involved in this and automatically it will attract some hate, even though you and the others showed your samples and the whole thought process behind creating these perfumes, people will still hate. It’s sad, but you have to continue to do you and be yourself. The right people will understand. I don’t like the hate and the drama that these people are creating and I avoid all kinds of negative reviews. I don’t watch perfume reviews to get tense, I watch them to relax and escape reality.
Hello Gabby ! I've had Cabana Sunset for a week now and the first few sprays were very plastic especially on clothes! it's sat for a bit now and the plastic is starting to fade, so hopefully in a month it will be gone! Thanks for the video!!🙂
it will def smooth out and the better notes come forth! The "plastic" becomes more barbie head b/c the apple smooths out and moves more to the background and when the vanilla/strawberry become stronger that plastic note smooths out and becomes like barbie head or even strawberry scented dior lipstick(if they had that lmao). Idk how to describe it now. But it's def getting better, longer lasting and smoother. and that note is def better now. Even tho it'll always be there it's just not plain old "plastic" anymore.

And I dont think it's plastic either...More like doll head or a high-quality strawberry scented lipstick. And then it's gets sweeter & sweeter and the silllage off cabana is EXCELLENT! Completely different than how you smell it on yourself! The dry is also so good. I personally love that "synethic" note! So glad I got it. I didn't like it at 1st b/c of the apple but after 3 weeks that apple is smooth and lighter with more vanilla and strawberry now.
Gabby , loved soooo many of the dresses you wore ❣ gorgeous , the cherry red near the beginning and the blue with NYN's wow 😍 I def get the coffee now in NYN's but I also get that banana scent as well and at first mostly got florals ...... Simone Andreoli summer scents are perfect , just added Don't Ask me Permission and love it ❣❣
I have Cabana Sunset, and the fragrance is maturing beautifully. The first application was challenging due to the opening (I have Rosendo Mateu No 5 and I absolutely love it). It's a common experience when trying a new perfume. I now understand the opening of Sunset, and the drydown is beautiful.
Opening of Paulina's new fragrance was the best but I personally cannot handle that synthetic musk or amberwood type of smell in the dry down. Maybe sensitivity, Ambrosia Imperial, same thing. Thankfully Melon Kiss doesn't have or not as much soI stay with that
I just don't understand why so many niche brands are using such harsh base notes like amberwood, ambroxan, etc. in their fragrances. I am apparently very sensitive to them and they make me sick to my stomach, something designer brands rarely do. Perhaps it's the dosage at the base being too strong and intrusive, but I am over ambroxan, amberwood, ambrofix, et. al. being in everything. I would rather have a great scent that fades sooner that I can reapply than have to deal with some horrible synthetic, scratchy, screechy fixatives that supposedly keep a fragrance around longer.

I really hope cabana sunset gets better believe me when I say I’m a fan of you guys both. I don’t even get plastic I get straight up gasoline. Maybe I got a bad one from a bad batch. I would say to Paulina to even check the first batch they bottled.

I personally love Cabana Sunset it was love at first sniff for me ,I’m travelling next month and for sure I’m taking Cabana sunset and Amorous intense with me
My first few sprays of Cabana Sunset were not a win… but I knew to let it sit. Paulina even suggested so. I enjoyed the dry down but the initial spray was too sharp for me. Well, after just a week of letting it sit.. I sprayed the Lost in a Dream body spray and then a healthy cover of Cabana Sunset… oh my wow. About 2 hours later, I could smell myself and I smelled delicious. The sharpness of the initial spray just became a nice brightness on top of a creamy fruityness. I don’t know if it was the addition of the creamy lost in a dream that did it but it certainly became a solid WIN.
It is to be expected, i get a creamy apple. Ms Paulina and the rest are doing well, and we can support what we like. Speak about and forget about all the nonsense. Most fragrances smell plasticky, and then it changes..the alcohol base...
I do not get a woody note. It has a lot of sweet musk as it’s base. Spray it a few times and then let it sit for at least a month. It needs time to mature and smooth out.
