I too love watching reruns of WML. Arlene is my favorite, however the regular panel altogether made the show successful in the 50s and 60s. Bill Daly was a much better host than the seventies syndicated version of WML.I even liked Dorothy Killgallen even though the other panelist didn't care for her as much as our perception, according to an interview with Bennett Cerf after the first version of WML ended in 1967. BTW, that interview is on RUclips, highly recommend. Cerf did give Killgallen props for being a smart panelist for which she and the others were. I think the intelligence of the program is what draws me in, you won't find that anymore on a panel game show. I've noticed more and more content being added to RUclips about Arlene Francis and I always make a point to watch. I also wish that an investigation of the death of Dorothy Killgallen would reopen.
