Thank you so much for the clear and easy to understand instructions! My audiologist told me I would never have to use the cerashield. I didn't know what it was for! Someone ask me if I had changed the wax filters and I thought they meant the dome! So I found you on you tube and I'm so glad I did! My aids are like brand new!!!!! Thank you again!
Hi, I can change my husbands filter no problem. Just asking if each disk has to be used only once, if you understand what I am trying to clarify please. Regards T.Smith
I'm having trouble rotating the serrated edges of the black disk in order to change the wax filter on my hearing aids. Any suggestions on why I am having this problem?
Do you have a how-to video for when the old filter will not come out using the method you describe? Both of mine are stuck and the opening is so small, I cannot get anything inside to remove it manually.
Please can you advise what to do if I was unsuccessful in removing the wax tip, as I inserted the hearing aid tip by mistake in the number two port. Thanks for your urgent help.
Sorry for the delayed reply. For custom moulds there's a different wax filter exchange system. I think they default to use the Ceru Stops or C-Stops. A little packet containing filter sticks with a fresh filter on the one end and a barb one end to remove the existing filter.
How many filters is it in the box? Am I risking putting in a used one? The video was OK, but the sound was terrible - or I need a new hearingaid. Do get a better microphone close to you mouth.
@@vijaysrivastava2604 Swap them right away if you notice a performance decline or the hearing aids don't seem to be working at all. One of the trouble shooting steps. Otherwise just routinely every few months average.

I have the same problem. No matter how I align the wax filter it will not click on the empty slot.
I just watched this and another video ruclips.net/video/UlMFMbkmG18/видео.html on what to do if the old one will not come out.
Thank you😊
Thankyou for this
How would you know if the filter has been used already?
Ah he says at the 3 min mark. Every 3 months or any difference in performance.
How many filters are in that thing? I have one of those, do I rotate that shield?
There are 8 filters in the full perimeter.
Thank you got it 😅

Didn’t put it in #2, but can’t get hole 1 to grab and remove. Tried other hole 1’s and still no luck. Can I pick it or pry it out with tweezers?
I can barely hear the video!
You can switch on the subtitles

Where do you keep the box so you don't lose it?
Under your pillow.
