Try getting a .4 of .5 needle/airbrush and you will find getting a smooth gloss finish is soooo much easier. They move enough paint volume that you can get a very nice wet coat on the model. The secret to a nice gloss finish from the gun. :) Nice build by the way.

I love it when you start with the tweezers and then go back to the tool with the highest precision: the fingers! It's no wonder that the assembly succeeds wonderfully 😉 The end result is a beautiful model with a fantastic finish. Well done.

The chrome finish looks the balls......

Now that is shiny. Great work!
I am in the middle of mine and going for the Nooky Bookie finish.
Everybody chooses Petie all the time. No love for poor Nookie.

What's that fancy shiny chrome paint? looks gorgeous.
Even can masking and put decals without clear coat?!

It’s Koong’s mirror chrome paint. I hope you find chrome paint you can easily buy.

Good build but unrealistic finish. Wings are silver paint. Fuselage is bare metal.

Hmmm. I am sure you like it, and that's great, but it isn't realistic is it? Everyone seems to overlook the fact that the first two thirds of the P51 wing was filled and panted - not natural metal - that's how the laminar flow wing was maintained.

Correct. The wings and Control surfaces were silver paint. Rest of fuselage was bare metal..not chrome.

I am currently putting this exact model together (my very first model) and was hoping I might ask you, at 6:57 you bonded the canopy temporarily. May I ask what you used? I am at the priming stage and just ended up securing both canopy piece down with PVA glue. I'd like to know for my next build Thank you!

      It’s a pva glue🙂

Its an interesting chrome look but looks toy like. It needs a way to vary different panels.

So, how did you paint over the canopy directly, and still end up with a clear canopy? 🤔

This kit has two type of canopyies, so I use one temporarily by pva glue 🙂

Nice build, cool video editing but looks far to shiny and toyish for my taste.
