Wow you did an amazing job man that looks like it came from the factory. I havnt done mine as you can see I'm not good with vinyl wrapping ide mess it up. Thanks for sharing have a great day.
Thank you much man, there was a couple spots that could have came out better but overall it turn out great. If you can find someone to do it, I'd recommend it 👌🏽
Yes they will man, still do it. Shit all of my content has already been done but I didn’t let that stop me bro. Content is content and people want to see it, plus it’s going to be your take bd perspective on it so it’ll be dope to see something different.
Fill a spray bottle with water and add a few drops of blue Dawn dish soap. Spray it on the light before applying the vinyl. It makes it a million times easier and doesn't affect the bond as long as you squeege all the bubbles out.
That’s actually a good idea 😳 I wish I had known that when I installed them but hopefully someone else who hasn’t sees this and does do for their install.
@@terrypeyton6554 yeah, once you get it where you want it just push the water out. It’s the same concept as tinting windows. The soapy water just allows you to move it around where you want it
@@BlklimitedX What percentage tint did you get for the back lights? Thinking about buying this same kit but i dont want to go to dark. I feel like the tint you did is perfect.
Thank you 🙏🏽 and thankfully my model came with them already blacked out so I didn’t have to remove or wrap anything. But there’s videos out there explaining how to do it and they do a great job.
Yes you have to really take your time when install them. But I find if you use heat they can be forgiving if you make a mistake. But I understand it can be frustrating
During the day they’re still visible just tinted. It’s not completely blacked out tint where nothings shining through. And yes at night they shine bright like normal.
I think it just make it easier to adjust the tint after apply it on. So it doesn’t actually stick like a sticker. With the soapy water, it will slowly dry as you’re applying and squeegee out the bubbles. Probably helps remove the bubbles better tok
I had my boy who owns a body shop smoke my tails and rear bumper lenses with clear paint mixed with some black. No edges cause he cleared over the smoked and clear sections, check out my WK2 walk around video on my channel. ruclips.net/video/g6GLITBmasY/видео.html
When being well seen is the first step in safety, it defeats me why anyone would want to black out their reflectors or lights. Doesn't matter who is a fault, in a accident, it is still a mess to clean up the cars and the paperwork.
Safety is very important I agree. But people such as myself do it because these tint kits still allow the reflectors to work as intended. You are still very well seen, and they break no safety violations legally. During the day you can't see them but at night they still shine through. I didn't put black electrical tape over them completely rendering them useless. But not everything is for everyone, have a blessed day.
I am not sure. I do this for my motorcycle but for cars to blackout everything it doesn't make any sense. They call them reflectors and they are not anymore
For me personally I prefer the blackout out look and it's common. And they're just tint, they still illuminate through at night when needed. The tint doesn't disable they're purpose. Preference thing
True but it was snowing all day so it would have been a waste. I wash my own truck instead of a car wash and I wasn't about to wash it in 20 degree weather 🤷🏽♂️

Why don't they you ask? Simple, some states, it is illegal to tint any tail light, headlight etc...
Yeah I know, it was more from a position of they just look cool, not a legal one.

I don’t know why people do all this to their cars! All it does it take away from the resale value
That only matters to someone selling their car. I'm not.
