For Bedrock players: The farm:use the dispensers The secret room: Don't use stairs,Put a normal block instead. Don't use observer, just put a normal block where observer is.Don't put redstone in the back just the front 2 and you can place a lever where the stairs would normally be. You can store the lever somewhere else if wanted.

I will be honest here, when you look at it this base can be EXPENSIVE to make in early game in some cases ( Like if your just 5 mins into a world or something and dont have redstone yet ) but mid to late game this base would be no problem

Simply and Easy to build materials are easy to get and it doesnt take much to build its literally amazing and has space for everything you would need inside thats always the first thing that i build in a new world
Although Builders like Marloe and Zaypixel do more complicated and aesthethic looking builds that I absolutely love, I can only be proud that there are people out there who actually prefer that 1.7/1.8 Classic Feel. Hands down for your effort put into your videos.
@@baccoony9148 They aren't that complicated if you're a fast builder, but they have a lot more detail put into them and new blocks such as campfires, lanterns, copper and more things used. Not to mention the attention to detail when building the exterior and the interior, they are much more diverse than just a square or a rectangle with cobblestone stairs as a roof. Never the less, I love classic building too, it really gives me 2014/2015 vibes when I started watching Minecraft on RUclips, and houses were built just like this one!

This dude is very big brain!!!! He solved everything with simple solutions (like a secret base with staircase), and he knows about Minecraft very well like placing water on magma still does damage(that is sooooo big brain).
The fact that he calls this a starter base but includes redstone is hilarious because some people don’t have redstone in the first few nights and that is what you need a starter base for, the first few nights. It’s called a *starter* base for a reason.
Well, this is just an example, half of people do have redstone and half of them don't. Remember that you don't have to copy his build, you can come up with your own ideas

Tip: you can replace the magma blocks with campfires if you haven't gone to the Nether yet. However you won't be able to use water to collect your loot.

I usually just have 3 furnace, 2 smoker (it cooks food faster so it's really handy) and only 1 blast furnace (it's really expensive and i barely use it, only when my armor breaks)
I just have a whole room of camfire no fuel needed and cooks food 2 times faster by furnace per campfire plus all the 64 ones in my room so much speed no fuel needed
8:00 In this instead of magma we can make it deeper and add lava and just below it sign to stop lava from being on the ground than the zombies will burn and you can place hoppers to collect the items and the hoppers will lead to a chest where the items are stored. The hoppers are bit costly but it will be worth it:)

if you don't want to do that redstone for the farm (you shouldn't once you get enchants) just use a tool that has fortune 3 on it. it increases the amount of potatoes and carrots by a ton and the seeds of the other crop by a lot. much more useful for late game villager trading/breeding

Planting crops in a lline, makes the plant grow faster. Like a line of wheat, space, another line of wheat. Or just alerternate with another "single square" crop. Different crop lines can be touching, but have to be different for growth speed effect.

How Minecraft ideas go from smart to stupid. 1. Someone thinks of an idea 2. That idea gets so popular that it becomes classic. 3. If someone sees something implemented in a classic idea, like a painting, then they will do what the owner of the base would do to get inside. By the way, water logging is a great idea; even if it becomes classic, it’s hard to find the right block.
I just gotta say you are the only reason I can build good starter houses today and show people how to do it, I even came back to this video just because I wanted to see it again for the old memory, and I love the challenge of doing this in survival, even though I'm bad at finding diamonds and iron, I still managed to get the blocks for this with in about 2 minecraft days thankfully it didn't take to long, and though I CAN still find diamonds within about 5 minecraft days sometimes I'm not lucky enough to find them and I can usually find iron within 2-3 days, so atleast I can find them at all.😊
I really like your base idea! I've recreated it with other materials (dark themed) but i changed the places of the furnaces and crafting table etc because i'm more the ''quality before quantity'' type, so i like it more ''pretty and cozy'' than producing much on one place yk :D One last thing: 8:00 i would recommend solar panels instead of activating it manually via lever, u can jump the stairs up. it looks better and you don't have to panic that you don't activate the lever while running away ;)
If you don't have redstone, use two villagers and carrots for an automatic farm. If you don't have gravel, right click with a shovel to make a dirt path. *Edit: If you put a chest into an anvil, you can rename the chest to whatever you want to put inside. *Edit2: Put your chests long ways down, to put more in. In a 3 large chest space, you can actually fit 6 large chests, doubling your storage capacity. *Edit3: Use Blast Furnaces instead of the regular furnace for smelting raw ore. They are twice as fast. Also, use campfires to cook food (on each corner) instead of a furnace, as the campfire has infinite usage and doesn't require charcoal or coal to cook your food. Later, make a smoker (not a furnace) to cook food faster. It does require fuel, but is twice as fast as a campfire and can be automated by hoppers and a storage system.
I'm a little late to the party, but any idea why my 3 trap doors touching my staircase to my house aren't being controlled by the lever of the redstone mob trap? I'm on console version so I believe it's bedrock, tried all different combinations but can never get those 3 to be controlled within the redstone connection

Getting rid of the lever worked for a bit then I got an update and it stopped working. The pistons would retract after removing the lever.

I don't think the red stone was even necessary. It wouldn't take that long to just harvest that small plot by hand when you have to replant anyway.
And magma blocks for the traps, aren't they from the nether?

I just gotta say you are the only reason I can build good starter houses today and show people how to do it, I even came back to this video just because I wanted to see it again for the old memory, and I love the challenge of doing this in survival, even though I'm bad at finding diamonds and iron, I still managed to get the blocks for this with in about 2 minecraft days thankfully it didn't take to long, and though I CAN still find diamonds within about 5 minecraft days sometimes I'm not lucky enough to find them and I can usually find iron within 2-3 days, so atleast I can find them at all.😊
I really like your base idea! I've recreated it with other materials (dark themed) but i changed the places of the furnaces and crafting table etc because i'm more the ''quality before quantity'' type, so i like it more ''pretty and cozy'' than producing much on one place yk :D
One last thing:
8:00 i would recommend solar panels instead of activating it manually via lever, u can jump the stairs up.
it looks better and you don't have to panic that you don't activate the lever while running away ;)

Really sucks that you don't provide the block count, block type needed, or anything specific.
If you don't have redstone, use two villagers and carrots for an automatic farm. If you don't have gravel, right click with a shovel to make a dirt path.
*Edit: If you put a chest into an anvil, you can rename the chest to whatever you want to put inside.
*Edit2: Put your chests long ways down, to put more in. In a 3 large chest space, you can actually fit 6 large chests, doubling your storage capacity.
*Edit3: Use Blast Furnaces instead of the regular furnace for smelting raw ore. They are twice as fast. Also, use campfires to cook food (on each corner) instead of a furnace, as the campfire has infinite usage and doesn't require charcoal or coal to cook your food. Later, make a smoker (not a furnace) to cook food faster. It does require fuel, but is twice as fast as a campfire and can be automated by hoppers and a storage system.

I'm a little late to the party, but any idea why my 3 trap doors touching my staircase to my house aren't being controlled by the lever of the redstone mob trap?
I'm on console version so I believe it's bedrock, tried all different combinations but can never get those 3 to be controlled within the redstone connection
Same here! It does not work on Bedrock... He is playing on Java!
