Thanks for the videos man I live pretty dam close too you and your info is great for a young dude trying to learn all he can , I live in Hancock county have also made it down to warren county as well for some hunting . Keep the videos going man 🤙🏻
I seriously can not stand the people who steal our cams that we’ve worked hard for… Hunters need to practice a good stewardship and being respectful to our other hunters
100% agree!! I've seen things getting bad in the last 5 years! Sucks cause I love my field edge cams during the summer months! I drive 4 hours from north Iowa to southern Iowa just praying my cams are still there everytime I go south! Shouldn't be that way!
Check into exodus trail cams, they replace even if stolen. They have a great warranty and clear pics. I only use exodus on public so I do not worry as much if they get stolen. Just a suggestion I was happy I found out about them. Great video, I have hunted Boone Iowa a few times as non-resident and saw a few mega giants on private land , Iowa is the place to be if you like big bucks.
Thank you! I watch the Exodus guys alot here on RUclips. I like what there doing, podcasts,Whitetail cribs! I just haven't pulled the trigger on there cams just yet,but I just might do that!
I grew up in Warren County, but moved down to Texas when I was 15. Most of my family still lives in the area, but I’ve never made it back to hunt since I left. Talked to my uncle last month, and I’m out of excuses! Putting in for my non resident license for 2022, so hopefully I’ll get a chance to hunt my favorite place in the world next year!
Nice buddy! Warren County is a good area! I want to just give you a heads up,it may take 3-4 years to draw a tag in that county though. No better time then now though to start putting in for the non-resident tag! Best of luck to you in Texas and drawing that Iowa tag in the near future!!🤘🦌🦌
i hunt central iowa story and boone county public. theres some big bucks around on the river valley there just hard pattern they end up patterning you most the time it seems on public around here lol
It's all good though once rut hits, you see bucks you didn't even know was there! That's usually how it works for me down in southern Iowa. Up north here I know of most of the big boy's, but even then you never know where they will end up,specially during rut!
Was this all public land I could see all the soybeans and a silo I know the government sometimes leases the land out to Farmers we're not too far from you here in Missouri I would like to know a little bit more like the cost I'm spending food lodging license I'm not rich but I sure would like to try it I know people that come from out-of-state to Missouri it cost almost $300 for deer license y'all did a good job on the video
Thank you! I hunt southern Iowa public. For non-residents tags are around 600$ here! Most counties down by the Missouri border take up to 5 years to draw a tag! I live in North Iowa so and 90% of these bucks in my video were up north public land bucks! Alot of the public up here has either soy beans or corn planted on it. They cut most of the crops during harvest season, but they usually leave 10% of a field standing. I have hunted northern Missouri public and found kind of the same there as far as there being alot of crop fields on public,I liked what I saw there, I may get another tag this year. Last time I hunted N. Missouri I think I paid 225$ for my tag! Good luck this year! Thanks for watching and I hope you tag a Giant this year!!🤘🦌
Pretty sure it's not new news there bud! Pretty sure Iowa is known to be the land of the giants! I've delt with tons of hunting pressure my whole life and have been successful every year with good bucks! My biggest being 181" and last year a 163" buck! I don't worry about everyone! I worry on where to put myself to be successful!
Thanks for the videos man I live pretty dam close too you and your info is great for a young dude trying to learn all he can , I live in Hancock county have also made it down to warren county as well for some hunting . Keep the videos going man 🤙🏻
