The opening and closing piano segments in this piece suggest how easy it really is to love...not just in a romantic sense, but also (and probably more so) in a humanitarian way...or at least Keith makes it sound & feel easy...natural & flawless. Makes me reflect on all the people I've loved through the years...if they were all in a room at the same time I'd tell them that it was easy to love them...all.
@@MrRickywallace I really don't understand what your point is. You claimed that him deviating from the main melody is more artistic and this makes no sense to me because art is subjective. Not "to a point" it just is. If it was a factual thing then people wouldn't need to ask why he does it. I don't understand how your analogy applies here

Bravissimo Keith...Leonardo di maro RUclips jazz PIANIST COMPOSER
Listening at 5:57 minutes he begins to play the standard melody. I suppose he was playing the changes to the song earlier below some other melody??
He makes a short introduction, then plays the theme, improvises, at 5:57 returns the theme for end and then makes 2-3 minutes cadenza for end.
Yes, to make it more complex--artistically!
מומלץ לקרוא פרק לד' ביחזקאל שבו דברי נבואה על הדור הזה
Love how he tries to play vibrato on the piano lol 😆 🔥
3:33
7:58 la ci darem la mano
Did Keith Jarrett just improvise a Bach solo passage?

Keiforu Gerotto
This does not sound like I Fall in Love.... what song is it?
I know right....doesn't sound like he's playing the melody but it you hum the melody it seems to follow the changes. hmmm
It's a tinge of it to avoid staid playing, enhancing the artistic rendering.
@@MrRickywallace art is subjective though
@@nezkeys79 To a point, yes, but I cannot draw and Rembrandt could. That is a fact, not a subjective observation.
