I'm glad I checked out your channel after seeing an ad for it. I have been wondering about the difference in sugars for awhile now and it was a very timely viewing as I'm supposed to be doing an Easter cookie set with a coworker soon.
You can use gel food coloring to color sanding sugar. I've only tried coloring sanding sugar not coarse type so I'm not sure if it would work with the coarse one. Do you want to apply it to the sides or top?
+NayNay628 I haven't tried it myself. Raw sugar I use is tan /brown color and so if I want the look of snow I'd use white, but for a different design perhaps it would be fine to use. Good luck.
Beautifully decorated Christmas cookies and a great video relative to sugar differences. THANKS !!!

Hi Hani👋.. Wonderful tutorials!! Do you have a video on how to tint the sanding sugar? Thank you..
NPPINEDA Thank you. I don't have a tutorial on how to tint the sanding sugar, that is a great idea, I'll do that. Thanks for the suggestion.
Yes. I need this. Question can you color sanding sugar or the coarse sanding sugar and how would I apply them to cake

Hello! Love your videos
Thank you.
I noticed that there are lots of colors to choose from, but can you color the white sanding sugar yourself. If so, what brand do you use?
I like PME white sanding sugar.
Can i use it in cotton candy machine
Honestly I have no idea, I've never use cotton candy machine.
Where do you find sanding sugar? Do they sell it in grocery stores?
Michaels has sanding sugar or specialty stores, with baking/decorating tools. I usually buy it online.
how do u make it black?
+Umm “NaNa” 'Salama You can use food coloring to color it black, or you can buy it black already made.
I've never seen black food coloring
Umm 'Salama they always have it with all the food colors
If you don't have sanding sugar available, can you substitute raw sugar?
+NayNay628 I haven't tried it myself. Raw sugar I use is tan /brown color and so if I want the look of snow I'd use white, but for a different design perhaps it would be fine to use. Good luck.
Yummy!! Thank you so much!
+Lyn Sandgren Thank yo Lyn.

Is granulated sugar just normal sugar?
Apologies if it''s a dumb question with an obvious answer lol :/
Yes granulated sugar is just the normal sugar. There is no dumb question. Thanks for asking and stopping by.
Haniela's Thank you so much because I thought if I made a mug cake with normal sugar instead of what it said (granulated sugar) it would not work
