It helps us see with him healing different people in different ways know that we are not to far from him too. We too can be healed. We too can be saved. There's no place where we can go.No hight or low he has US.
What came across to me was the unexpectedness. A centurion, a gentile showing great faith. But then the old guard stumble. John the Baptist, even he begins to have doubts. The pharisee Simon not having any clue as to the woman sinner's actions and that same woman herself completely in tune with Christ and His mission despite her wayward state. Even the least in the kingdom of God....
John was the one sent before Jesus Who was meant to prepare a way for Jesus and they were saying that there is no greater prophet that John who was born by a woman here on earth
“Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.”
As a newly-converted Catholic from a Baptist, I felt a bit compelled to. :)
“And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. ”-Jesus
Luke 7:50
The power of forgiveness

The woman washing Jesus’ feet with her tears
Why is John the Baptist asking if Jesus is the one sent by God ? Did John baptize Jesus I'm confused by this part of the chapter ...????
Yea John did baptise Jesus:)
John was the one sent before Jesus
Who was meant to prepare a way for Jesus and they were saying that there is no greater prophet that John who was born by a woman here on earth
Okay I understand it's just proof that John was the last prophet because after Jesus whom else could we prepare the way for
can I ask if anyone know this version?
We usually read CSB, NET or NRSV
Where in the bible is the son of nain
There is a story about the son of a widow from Nain in Luke 7:11-17, if that's what you are thinking of.
Thank You
