Seeing the Mario Karts brings back memories of a few years ago when the wife and I got to do that; at the time, it was 6500JPY each for a 3 hour cruise around the streets of Tokyo. Was funny seeing people waving at us and taking photos and videos of us. Nice work on the video Arigatogozimasu.
Came back home 2 weeks ago, after staying in Tokyo for a month. My apartment was in Shibuya. Thank you for this video. I miss this place so much with all my heart and soul. Again someday...

Various homes , convenience stores , restaurants , hotels , etc. were equipped with decorations celebrating the New Year at the entrance . Most of the decorations for the New Year are made of pine and bamboo ( since it's also green in winter ) . It's called 「 Kadomatsu 」 . Kadomatsu is surrounded with the branch of the pine of the green leaf around three big bamboos and put up and installed in front of entrance . Another decorations celebrating the New Year are 「Shimekazari 」(Decorated sacred rice straw festoon ). Kadomatsu,s cost is 40〜1000 USA dollars . Shimekazari,s cost is 10〜300USA dollars .
