You are so right about research! That goes on every level. From what gun or parts to buy to stuff like tuning. Laziness don´t pay here. It´s another story if one just is not technically knowledgeable at all. Not everyone is gifted that way. But research to know what you want and how to achieve it is important.
RED! Damn I just bought a red 5KU STI grip for a planned SSP5 scratch build. Planning on using a red 4.3 5KU frame and red SSP5 slide set (OOS right now fml). Nick named the gun/build the Red Rocket since the SPP5 is fast.
Glad to see Knuckles is back!!! I personally play IPSC. You’re correct when you say CLPD and Cowcow are the best Sear springs in the market. Please do a series between recoil springs. Guys don’t understand why a soft spring with a ton of buffers might work better that stronger springers. Bucking wise I heard great things with 4uad and Unicorn.
Personal recommendations for parts that you should check out are: JLP parts (especially the disconnector) and buffers Nova Blowback housing + CL Piston
