There is a lot of breakdown to this track, i feel that its about love and desire. The line "just like a doughnut" refers to how sweet, toxic and deadly being in love can be. Its an analogy of the doughnuts being like their heart. Also explains why jihyo's inside blood was similar to the doughnut jelly at the start.

There is something about this song and music video that is both sweet and creepy! I do love the fact that the doughnut is both a circle with a hole in it (to show me without you) and an endless loop (them in this endless cycle of yearning for what they no longer have).
I would also like to recommend Dreamcatcher's Vision when you have the time. They have an awesome mix of rock/metal mixed with other genres. They tend to do story arcs with their videos and songs, with their current one from their Apocalypse series.
After jihyo singed her part at the ending chorus that high note from the background is jihyo the one that goes high and low with a melody

Its called doughnut because if you watch mina part again you will realize that she said “ just like a doughnut “ while she is running in a place look so close to a doughnut it is circle and there was a two doors and she is trying to found the reason ( why her friends died ) but she can’t found the reason so when she enter a door she find herself come back to the same place so its a circle( there is no end ) so thats why they called the song doughnut and the reason why her friends died its because pf the doughnut and if you can see when cheayoung open the oven and 8 pf the doughnuts was burned thats mean that all of the girls died only mina and she is trying to help her friends and find the reason.
