I went to a concert with Robert Plant, sang some Led Zeppelin songs, and I tried to sing along. I know the words and I was way off. Everything was wrong after watching this video I finally got it. Once John Bonham died. I realized he doesn’t sing the song the way it was originally sung he changes it up or maybe that’s just him using his artistic right but just seems kind of funny what are your thoughts? Have you heard Robert Plant singer Led Zeppelin song without changing up the lyrics compared to the old
Well , can you really blame him? He & John were so tight. Robert taking Jimmy to hear John as Jimmy was forming Zeppelin.

When and where was this? I saw Page and Plant in the Bay area in the early 80s?
This was around the era of buff Plant and fat Jimmy. Robert was obviously lifting weights and keeping fit, while Jimmy was trying to quit smoking and getting a pot belly :D
Ironically, the tables are turned now. Jimmy is in his late 70's and looks very healthy, while Plant has been sipping a few too many pints and is getting chunky lol
