A Master of his art 😍 i used to dislike audiobooks because of the narrators. I grew to love the first law audiobooks because of Stevens talent but now despise all other narrators even more 🙈😅
@@ErnaB790Same here 😒. JA is my favorite author and I pretty much know all of his “First Law” universe books by heart 🤨. I listened to each one over 30 times 🤷🏻♂️ and can’t listen to anyone but SP 🤨
The problem with Joe’s books is the same as RRRRRRRRR Martin’s! It’s so grand that the budget to make them is astronomical. However, I still dream that there will be one. I don’t even care if it’s animated 🤨
I dont think I've ever actually liked a fan trailer before. They usually suck. The music and visuals that you used really paint a picture... Nice work.
Unbelievabel. I have watched a few videos of him explaining how the process works and it's amazing. So much preparation and then basically just reading though. Not even real breaks or cuts in one chapter. Fantastic work. Also his abbility to personificate womens voices without just doing them really high pitched (which would aound unnatural)
I had to search if there was anything fanmade. there is so many good quotes and situations in the series. and the heroes are a very good book to make a trailer with. The chill I got when he was bringing the cannons and how the first triology showed how insane the first of the magi are, and jumpstarted the technology.
Dude! Joe is my favorite writer so I track everything he writes. The last book series “the age of madness” is amazing. Not as gritty and fast paced as “the first law” or “Heroes”. But awesome.
I honestly think that if the first law is gonna be adapted, it should start with the solos and then the age of madness, then the original trilogy can act as a prequel. Not that the original trilogy is bad, just that the solos and Madness are so damn cinematic! Great trailer my guy
Anyone know what the first scene in this trailer was from? I know he listed the movies in description but i specifically want to know which one the first scene with the man with the bowl cut walking amongst soldiers.
FUCK! My absolute favorite book! I read and listened to ALL Joe’s books so many times I can recite them all. Sadly, they will never be adapted in today’s soy filled society!
Yeah Glockta's voice is a lot like that. The audiobooks are DEFINITELY worth listening too. The Narrator is one of the best I've ever heard. He fits accents to characters really well and always gets just the right tone.🤩
@@TheRightflip Steven Pacey is just absolutely brilliant. These audiobooks feel like so much more than just simple audiobooks. It's like a really good movie you can listen to. I remember one scene, where at LEAST 8 characters where having a discussion, and without having to mention the Names you could clearly identify who was speaking at all times. It's just surreal to me that one man can have so many different voices and give ALL of them depth and authenticity. The Joe Abercrombie Audiobooks are just something else. Found nothing that compares so far. I will never not re-listen them.
In my mind: Sand dan Glokta - Christopher Waltz, Jezal dan Luthar - Cary Elwes, The Dogman - Guy Pearce, Bremer dan Gorst - Brock Lesnar, Ferro Maljinn - Summer Glau, Collem West - Jason Statham, Logen Ninefingers - Scott Glenn
God bless Steven Pacey (the voices of all characters).

'loyalty’s a dangerous foundation. Tends to wash away in a storm.'
Ironhead.
One of the best lines in any first law book imo.
True but there are so many 😮 i think i marked more citations in joes books then in all other books i've read combined 😅
Whirrun was a great way to open, this is Awesome
Thanks! I agree his lines are perfect
@@LiveActionTrailers “seems I haven’t trapped it hard enough” when his cheese fell out of his cheesetrap
They should have started with Whirrun Fucking Javre 😂
@@JosephSmith-eh3uvone of his best lines 😂👍 (although there are so many) my favorite character in the heroes
DUUUUUUUUUDE!!!!!
This trailer has me hyped for a movie that's not even real!

I'd love the First Law series as a TV show, especially if we got a Red Country Spin off after about 10 years. 😁

Read the description and saw that a new book is out in the series! Would have never known otherwise, thank you!

Start with best Served Cold, simply because it's such a rollercoaster and has such an impact... That would be purely amazing :D
@@Eightfinger Good news for both of you! Best Served Cold IS in the works.
I feel like the hero's is one of the best Abercrombie books for adaptation, it would also cost a fortune if you want it to look good
Say one thing about this trailer..... say it’s top quality
I think about this video a lot. It's So Good.
I am fucken hyped! And yet it isn't happening. Damn.
You've got to be realistic I suppose.

This book would be perfect for the big screen
This makes me happy
Got the chills. Great job. Was that Glokta's voice from the audiobook? So perfect.
Think it was bayaz
Glokta take with a heavy lisp in the audio book, but that sounds exactly like Bayaz.
yes it's from the audiobook, Steven Pacey did a FENOMENAL job as a narator, I would argue listening to the book is actually better than reading it!

Whaaaaw !! So amazing. 💯✌🏼
This is great. Also can i have the name of the background music?
It's a song I got off of Envato called Dark Intense Hybrid Cinematic Trailer
Awesome job
What is the female voiceover?
Wow

Lesnar as Gorst is fucking perfect.
In my mind, Stephen Pacey is all of them lol.
I always had Christopher Waltz as Orso (Gangsta Orso from Styria, not his Grandson).
Okay but who is brother longfoot
Who would play Bayaz?!
