I can actually hear Rob saying both black or white depending on whether I'm thinking black or white. So I guess by technicality he says both since you'll hear whatever you're thinking of.
For the Black or White bit, if you think of "Black" while the subtitle says "White" it still sounds like White to me, while if you think "White" when the subtitle says "White" it still sounds like white, and I'm like 90% sure that first syllable is a "w" sound, I thought he said "what" at first. Try it for yourself.
