We are the culture. I am not worried. They could wipe every single Battletech channel that we are still the culture. Amen. First video of yours I’ve ever seen, but as a fellow razor force fellow I salute you. And I’ve gone to Etsy myself. Gotta pick up an army. All I want is some stompy robits. All hail Van Zandt, and just remember: Brisket is worth fighting for.
Same here. I watched Razörfist's rant & interview of BLP. I tweeted about it with tags on Fanatics' CEO & co-CEO (no insults, essentially just "not cool"). And I have commented on the matter among wargame and RPG circles. Razörforce is on the move! No guts, no galaxy!
after seeing the Battletech video game a few years back, and how the devs diversified the cast portraid there, this seems like a complete circle now. Should have gatekept BT before any woke leftys can come onboard.
It also didn't help that BLP was making a competing mech game product. That represents a conflict of interest if he's doing that and freelancing for Catalyst.
It's not made him any less the best selling Battle Tech author in the franchise, so I'd argue it's a non factor. And if they wanted to part ways over that possible conflict than that departure would have occurred when that project began. As opposed to after receiving a falsified complaint from a known stalker with a restraining order against them who's coming off a conviction for terroristic threats. Which is really where this whole thing should have ended as far as that bit goes.
His partner in that particular project still works at Catalist from what i understood so if that is true that argument is null and void. It was just SJW bullshit at the end of the day.
Yeah BLP got hit we must rally Battletech is actually small enough that they can't ignore their playerbase if it dissolves He said he had a new mech/robot game which is interesting because we can make our own space while fighting off this dumb movement in our IPs
We are the culture. Player base will not dissolve. We spent literally years without support and we were the culture. If they push us we kick them out of our culture. We will find alternate ways to stay afloat as THE culture. They can annoy us or ruin products, but they cannot dissolve our friendship. If they ruin, we stop buying and the culture goes on. They cannot even meddle. We still will be the culture. Star Wars was heavily centralized. We are not. We are the culture. It is on our tables and we only allow friends.
Victory depends on how you define objectives. In 1812 Napoleon set as objective to conquer Moscow. But it was deserted. So even if he took the city, there was no Moscow. And later he won the winter Olympics in Tukkayid. They cannot take any inch from us. They could close RUclips channels, annoy us, publish crappy materials and try to poison our day with drama. But do you know what? Take the Skyfall approach. Disconnect. Play and enjoy on your table. Talk to friends only. Do not let rage fill you. Reject their invitations to anger. We are not Joanna. These people hate alternative platforms. They really hate it when they are left alone preaching to the wind. They are attention grabbers. We lose if we stop having fun. It is better to be alone than in bad company. Politics is ephemeral and one day they will lose their wings and we will be ready to retake the Inner Sphere. There are bigger events happening. I will not discuss them but be certain that this will not last forever.

The company you mention has products that people use to cut during times of crisis. Their products are not essential products to survive. And they are not luxury products uber rich people buy. That does not look like a very safe position in this crisis. Crisis are great to make people focus on keeping customers happy. You and me need not to move a finger. The crisis will batchall. You will see. They will not tell you anything, but they will be worried. Inventory is starting to pile up, a clear signal of what is about to come. Instead of playing a futile game of being single pawn in a chess game charging against an opponent, you should see they are in a ship and a worldwide storm is about to hit in 2023 and 2024.
