Hi lovely Hazel and dear Stripe🙋♀. I was brought up on make do and mend, I started sewing my own clothes in my early teens on my mums old singer treadle machine, have always enjoyed sewing. I am sure Peggy will be very content with her adjusted skirts, it is very satisfying to mend ones clothes. Thank you for my lovely IG message it really cheered me after a long morning at the shops in all the bad weather that we had overnight & this morning.... ❤️❤️ Peggy was really pleased with her skirt & very happy to be able to wear it them all again..😊😊 It was so lovely to hear about you sewing on your mums sewing machine as it brought back some lovely memories of me sewing on my mums machine as a child too.... Hi Jen we are all well here thanks I hope you & Terry are well too..😊❤️ my Lady was very happy with her skirt & I even got a tip for doing it too..😊 so I bought some plants 😂😂 Charity shops are good here I always manage to find a bargain... now im losing weight a lot of my nice clothes are fitting me again which is good its like having new clothes again... 😊😊 Bit cold here today wet & it was very windy in the night too...😊😊 Anyway have a lovely weekend & we will see you again soon... Charity shops in the UK are WAY better than we can find in Canada. We’re currently in Heptonstall and found a beautiful cashmere sweater for me and a brand new Barbour jacket for the husband!
