All these years later and this is still relevant to the music industry and how the "perfect pop star" formula has become so robotic. This was really a brilliant bit on their part.
“A real boy band is able to perform a dance routine which includes ALL members of the band, including any members who are RELUCTANT TO DANCE!” *Drags Gary kicking and screaming* 😂😂😂😂
TT are always very thoughtful about their music and shows. They could've just strung together a bunch of hits and new songs and rode on the nostalgia machine but no, they came up with all that and even Gary danced 😂 I thought the beginning segment was brilliant and ironic, like it was them telling their story.
Yeah, here I am watching it again and again and again... What this and the other Take That shows prove to me is that they are not only talented, but also very hard-working and professional to get all this going... The result couldn't be better!
I never saw this video. This is so powerful, a brilliant way to shout out what the music industry can do and how mean it can be. And to show that there was real talent and sharp intelligence in the boy band in spite of the Big Manager's rules.
This has been the best tour Take That have done, and it proved that Take That had what it takes to come back after 10 years, and they still have what it takes now.
I think it's brilliant what they came up with, recognizing (see interviews) that a Boy Band is the most commercial product in the music industry (MADE AFTER A PROTOTYPE -SEE CONCERT INTRO), making fun of their innocence, their experience in the band, of their mannager rules. . .everything was folowed as he said. . . AND THE MUSIC, OMG THE MUSIC!!! TNK GOD HOWARD'S A DJ. . . HE RAP IT UP SOOO COOOL!!!
The rules are as follows: Rule 1. The boys in a boy band must love, honor and obey their manager, and must have no other manager than me. Rule 2. They must sacrifice their privacy. Rule 3. The boys must not have girlfriends. (Howard starts kicking the drum) Rule 4. Some of the boys in the boy band will have to take one year or two off their real ages Rule 5. They boys must always be ambigious about their sexuality, never confirming their sexual orientation will encourage the homosexual sector of the market Rule 6. They must always be prepared to smile (Mark smiles!) Rule 7. They must always be gracious and humble like the boys next door Rule 8. They boys must be prepared to wear make up. Rule 9. They must never become too close to one another. They must never become real friends just in case one of them breaks down and has to be discarded Rule 10. The most important rule of all. The boys in the band must all be very, VERY...PRETTY! (audience screams)
This was amazing live, saw them at MK bowl and again at Wembley Arena this year, fantastic, loved the bit where Gary was picked up and carried to the rest of the group.
I LOVE it !! ive watched it sooooo many times is just amazingg:D love when the manager says they must be prepared to smile and mark turns round and smileees
TAKE THAT are the Best boy Band they are the best Sigers every i now be cause i Love them a Lot be cause i Love them Kerrie Ann masterton x xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx I Love you so much xxx ❤❤❤😘😘😘
Sorry, but I think those saying they should've opened the show with this are missing the point ...a great show needs to have a really epic moment halfway through and this was it, altho the rest of the show was amazing too. Besides, it wouldn't have looked as good cos it was still daylight when the show started. Anyway, I really like the opening they did use that shows them coming out the warehouse.
Loved this Apache! If you listen carefully, you can hear Robbie’s “Aaarrrggghhh” scream from the 1993 Apache mixed in… My only complaint about this DVD is that they didn’t include on the DVD where they did the Sure/Gorillaz remix from this part of the concert. That remix was incredible!!!!!
Rule 5. They boys must always be ambigious about their sexuality, never confirming their sexual orientation will encourage the homosexual sector of the market Rule 6. They must always be prepared to smile (Mark smiles!) Rule 7. They must always be gracious and humble like the boys next door
i like this very much....its great and the music too.....i love that atmosphere music they put in, in the end when some words and frases appear in the screen.....do you know what song is it ?????......i just adore that song
How to make a boy band My name is the manager. I am going to create a boy band. My boy band will achieve fame on a grand scale. Their music will dominate the popular charts. And their faces will adorn the walls of millions of teenage girls across the global. When manufacturing a boy band, the first thing you need is the right selection of...BOYS! In order to guarantee maximum success, each boy has to adhere to a set of fundamental rules
Rule 8. They boys must be prepared to wear make up. Rule 9. They must never become too close to one another. At 4:06 did you noticed Gary "hit" the professor in the stomach, because he was annoying I guess! Lol Never noticed it before, I just saw it after watching it about 15 times or so!
How was it? I'm from México, so there´s no way I can see them arround the area I live, practically this is the closest i'll get to do so. . . XD!!! let me know. . . pics?

All those pathetic rules now are still relatable. Just see how some East Asian country treat their talents. Or if you ever heard terms "idol group" , that's the perfect example for these ridiculous rules.
Arum Puspitarini omg especially K-pop idol groups! My country is a popular stop over for them and they never cut it for me. I doubt they will ever reach the level TT (and Westlife to an extent) has in terms of longevity and relevance as middle-aged pop stars
I agree, when they older like TT today are they still have what it takes to be one of the best? K-pop industry treat their artists as their products. Some of them turned nuts. Those rules have almost turned TT members nuts, but they rise and make their own style, but can those k-pop bands do that too? Hmmm I don’t think so.
no it's cause they said they were making and division. . . the young age perfomance and the manhood age one. . . so after this they make "relight my fire" wich i think you've seen. . . it's really manhoooody not boy band at all!!! LOL

Take That are talented they love what they do and a lot of groups that have come back since Take That have not made it.
I never saw this video. This is so powerful, a brilliant way to shout out what the music industry can do and how mean it can be.

Love the dirty groove @2:46, the techno vibe is such a nice surprise. Excellent dancing and production, they all have a brilliant stage presence xxx
Man, I wish I lived in the UK. I want to see them so bad!!
A nice homage to the Queen song "These are the days of our lives" from Jason at 6:03.
Awesome. They can laugh at themselves, they're talented. Amazing show!
This goes to show that Take That are cut above the rest of all other boybands
BEST BAND IN BRITISH HISTORY
I was 23 years old when I was watching this. Brilliant concert.
Brilliant & honest. TT 4 ever!!!

The part with Gary was especially hilarious and awesome! He did great and got his name chanted by the crowd
Still loving them in the horror that is 2020!!
This was my first TT concert EVER. Brilliant, I'll never forget it
It's been years and I'm still obsessed with this
I live in the Netherlands and I saw Take That live in Milton Keynes. After all those years I still watch this and think this is AMAZING!
This has been the best tour Take That have done, and it proved that Take That had what it takes to come back after 10 years, and they still have what it takes now.

Ah thank you for this, really!! I needed this since my English is not perfect and I didn't get all of it watching the performance 😅
Who said GARY could nkt dance? He can, on timing and gracefully so! Love this man so MUCH!
He hated it lol he loved it when they did ballads and not up beat songs because he absolutely hated dancing lol you should read his autobiography lol

I was there.
the bit jason does is slightly modified lyrics to 'those were the days of our lives' by queen
Love the self-deprecating humor of this, too.
I can't believe Mad Gray has to manhandle Gary Barlow to make him dance! Class man! Bloke's a lord!!
How did it take me all these years to realise Jason’s part was queen 😵
amazing isn't enought to describe....
love this so much
Wish I had been there!
Masterpiece...
"Do you still talk to Robbie?"
TRIGGERED
Thats my mate Mad Gray....he's a legend!
Brilliant music as well.
I personally think they made one mistake with this, they should have opened the show with this, cos this is quality!!
Sorry, but I think those saying they should've opened the show with this are missing the point ...a great show needs to have a really epic moment halfway through and this was it, altho the rest of the show was amazing too. The dancing😮💨
It's weird but it's also kinda cool
Rule 8. They boys must be prepared to wear make up.

They must never become real friends just in case one of them breaks down and has to be discarded

Ana Galván Alonso its the lyrics to Days of Our Lives by Queen
