Lived in Jamaica and we had alot of rainfall this weekend so the walk area at the back of the house becomes extremely slippery, I am grateful for this advice also I share the video with other individuals who I knew had the same issues.
I am looking for a concrete mix to make Japanese garden ornaments and was wondering if I could get some information on the concrete mix you used for those statues and cups.
We recently sealed our concrete around our new pool about 8 months after it was poured. It was broom finished and pretty good for walking around the pool. It became VERY slick after sealing. Could we put the silica on top? Or what would you recommend? We greatly appreciate your help and love the videos!
Yes, a silica sand within the sealer is common to help with this problem. Usually one layer with the sand and another layer without the sand to make sure the sand is trapped in the middle layer. Do a test spot area first before you go for the whole deck
What about if you get your bedroom floors with an acid wash stain? My concern was people coming out of the bathroom to the bedroom and maybe having wet feet. I’m going to have area rugs down but they wouldn’t cover the entire floor.
Does this work on existing sealer new stamp job, The reason why I’m asking is because we just got our pool deck done and it’s very slippery when wet Can I apply this over?

Hey, you mentioned it’s not a permanent fix, how long does it typically last? And what’s the ration of sand to sealer?

Do you recommend silica sand for colder climates that have freezing temperatures?

Do you have to seal stamped concrete? Is all stamped concrete slippery? My concrete guy who's installing my back patio is claiming it's not slippery.
Have him bring you to local work he has done so you can see it for yourself and walk on it to judge if you both agree it is not slippery
My local basketball court wore off, everyone slipping, been trying to find a way to fix it
