"उर्धावमूलम अधःशाखम, अश्वथम, प्रहू, अव्ययम्, चंदासी,
यस्य, परनानी, य ताम वेद सह वेदवित"
उस बड़ी शाखा (क्षर पुरुष/ब्रह्म) की तीन गुण-(रजगुण-ब्रह्मा, सतगुण-विष्णु और तमगुण-शिव)-रूपी छोटी-छोटी शाखाएँ समझो। ये भी पोषण जड़ (परम अक्षर पुरुष अर्थात् पूर्ण ब्रह्म) से ही प्राप्त करते हैं। पत्तियों के रूप में अन्य जीव इन तीन छोटी शाखाओं पर निर्भर हैं। वे भी वास्तव में जड़ (परम अक्षर पुरुष अर्थात् पूर्ण ब्रह्म) से ही पोषण प्राप्त करते हैं। इसलिए यह सिद्ध हो गया कि पूर्ण परमात्मा ही सबके द्वारा पूजने योग्य है।
भगवान कविर्देव जी स्वयं आकर इस सत्य आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान को बताते हैं। वह अपनी महिमा सब आप ही बतलाता है। वह खुद ही अपनी रचना के बारे में बताते हैं
